Wish I hadnt of spent all that money from what others have said, also finding it impossible to change my order the players just will not exchange positions.

Finally am I right that theres no point spending money on scouting this week (mind you looking at my selections think that could hold for the previous weeks)

Any money you spend on scouting, starting this week, counts for the draft next season.

that's a completely different way of scouting and drafting. Much more control to you as manager.

to me, I would prefer to pick up which player to scout a second time, not by role, as roles can dramatically change (we haven't mentioned height!). However, that could be a good option.

I understand that BB's wants:
- encourage spending money in scouting
- keep draft not so deterministic (random is part of the game)
- probably (my 2 cents) not spend much time on draft before having definitely fixed GE (done) and new site

But don't forget the draft: it's a key part of the game!

Actually, the last time this issue was raised (i.e. the last draft) I was told 'are you crazy spending money in scouts when you're having such a good record?'... so I guess you're right in saying that this point is not in a high position in BBs' to-do list, and I totally agree with you on the fact that the scouting and draft mechanisms could be much more interesting and fun, but I think that the BBs really don't care if we spend money in scouting...

crazy breakdown on that. but yeah thats what i've been doing since I've only got one legit PG and i'm trying to do a Run N Gun type offense...won't work without reliable PG's!

managed to scout 3 5* PG's and 1 5 star C out of nowhere...we'll c what happens on draft day though.

I never scout before the All Star game. I always spend about 75,000 after that. I picked 7th last season and got a good player. I really do think that about $80,000 in perfect. In fact, I sold one of my draftee's for the same amount of money I spent in scouting. Everybody wants 18 year olds. peace

that could be...and would surprise me.

Spending some money is always reasonable imho, unless all others are bot's ;) You can pick a decent "star" and develop good players too: not all must be at maximum potential! I am very proud of my medium potential players!

hello, friends!
fortunately, i spent only 10k per week, for only 3 weeks!!!
i quitted spendind money in the nasty scouts ....
and, guess what?!
this year they brought me 3 5-stars players, who have been scouted twice..lol..

conclusion: really doesn´t interest a lot investing big amounts of money in scouting....
lool........

about the same as me then ;D Can't complain. Last couple of seasons have not been so good though. I am biased to the system as it is, and that makes it good enough for me.
