We had almost equal offensive flow, but this is was the problem why my C played so nice?

Typical result for a high level team playing look inside in the new engine. If you go up against a strong+ perimeter d you cannot play a look inside and expect good results. I don't care what your flow is.

Many people are saying "just put up better flow and you will be ok". I think most of these people do not face a high quality outside d on a regular basis.

Offensive flow isn't that important in an outside offense...

I really don't know if that's true although I have seen this theory thrown around. Personally, I think it is a strange statement and if true, it points to the gaping flaw in the new engine.

Would also like to know, thanks.

Last season had this happen to me a couple of times . . . also had a 7'0" player with strong JS & respectable JR (low admittedly) who can't shoot even against centers with weak OD

I am really frustrate after my last game considering that the player that played PF for my team on this game he did great against a C who had 3 times his salary. Just check the last game of Cyprus NT against Belgium. On that game he couldnt score against a pretty equal player to him who had 3 fouls since 1st quarter. The only logical explanation that i got until now was

Sorry, I looked over your past matches and the highest outside d I saw you face was strong. And while even that was rare, rarer still was the number of times you played look inside or low post against such a defense.

I will pick out two matches, because they illustrate the point nicely. In the first example, your offense was completely shut down, in spite of a very high flow and the fact that your inside scoring was higher than his inside d:

(17853603)

In the 2nd match, you should have creamed him - your outside d was higher than his outside scoring and your inside scoring was two full levels higher than his inside d. You win by 17 points, but it should have been a massacre (not to mention his outside d was only respectable, you killed him in rebounding and put in more effort):

(17853602)

the first game was away against the best team in germany, and the second was a blowout which is still pretty good because he haven't such weak player i don't have to expect an massacre.

inside tactics are more difficult, but are still working if you get the ball into the post, iteams wiart struggling if they are inside teams.

Edit: This was the game i got creamed -> (17853601)

i thought that was what you meant. i dont think you got beaten hard... you played a 1-3-1 defense and this is what the rules say about this tactics. Dramatically increased perimeter defense at the expense of interior defense and rebounding.

the tactics perhaps helped your defense because your opponent played a motion offense. but your opponent had 65 rebounds and you only had 42. that is a very big difference and i think that is what cost you the game... secondly you fouled a lot more too but you had less turnovers everything else is more or less equal i think...

I am not saying you deserved to loose by 19 points, but 23 rebounds less is alot...

normally you don't fall that hard back rebounds with itt, the loss is deserved he was the favorite in the series and i did what i could ;) But the outside game was lot weaker in the offense then the inside game, at least at the ticker^^
