My total team salary is about $60k, and I'm trying to take three players (about $12k in salary) off the books. So, that would leave me with $48k in salary for ten players, so $4.8k per player.

ouch and you can compete enough to win? Or are you training some young guys?

My league is completely comprised of bots, so it's pretty difficult to lose. I have an A lineup that has salaries around 6k, and a B lineup which is around 5k. I win most matches pretty comfortably, unless someone fouls out or is injured. I'm really only trying to get my guys some training minutes.

OK understandable....yea my league has a lot of bots but the few managers we have are pretty good. I probably have the best team though comprised of an average player salary of about 6.6 k each...i win most games by 40 and should be ready for div. IV next season

Correct, I was relegated after last season. To be fair, I inherited a winless team midseason, and I made some ill-advised transfers. I'm probably not going to be ready for D.IV ball next season, in all honesty.

I'm in a pretty much bot league too but last season I shoulda won buy I didn't because of my lack of forwards so I decided to buy players that will be able to compete in IV for when I promote I won't have to buy like 5-7 guys in a week.
If that makes sense lol

"A stitch in time saves nine", so you're basically preparing for next season, huh? Rather than purchasing players from the TL right now and paying their salaries, I'd rather focus on raising my trainees, since I'm in a cakewalk of a league. I'd much rather not be in a bot-filled league, since there's a lack of suspense for league games, but it's a blessing, in a way.
So, draft orders have been up for a bit now. Anyone have high hopes for the draft? I think I've got pretty good trainees already, but I'm keeping an eye out for some superior draftees.

yeah i probably couldve done what you did to save salary money, but i dont want to somehow lose and have to stay in DV for another season. Im in a bot-league too so I should win easily though.

i have a terrible draft list so far. 60% of the 5 balls that Ive scouted are actually 2 balls... and all the 4/5 balls have like 2 potential. but I would sell them anyway because I have 2 good trainees.

I have only scouted a couple players but one of them is pretty good. 5 balls with 4 ball potential and he's 6'8" and a PF
