I would like to see that competition go forward, and it would be possible to have 3 levels of competition.
In the present format, in the best case cenario, where the CUP winners are ALL different from the CHAMPIONS, we can have the maximum of 196 teams (98 countries x 2 teams), therefor we need a maximum of 8 rounds to finish the competition.
If we add another competition, for Div.II champions and defeated cup finalists, then we would have the maximum of 490 teams (4 champions x 98 countries + 98 cup finalists), and we would need a maximum of 9 rounds to finish it.
And we could also add another one for Div.III, and there we could have a maximum of 1.568 teams (16 champions x 98 countries), and here we would need a maximum of 11 rounds to finish it.
If we want to push it, we could even have another level for Div.IV, where we could have a maximum of 6.272 teams (64 champions x 98 countries), and we would need a maximum of 13 rounds to finish it, but i don´t think this would add much more interest, because at this level there is much less competition and much more bot teams.
As for the competition's name, we could have something like this:
BuzzerBeater's Best (actual name)
BuzzerBeater's Champions
BuzzerBeater's Development
And to top it off, we could add an All-Star with the best players from ALL the 3 competitions and name it...you guessed it right...BuzzerBeater's All-Star.
Then we would have BBA + BBB + BBC + BBD to name all the different competitions.
