But in order to be effective from mid range,he needs at least a 4 or 5 in JR..Unless you're facing atrocious OD opponents... But it's not gonna be like that all the time.

I'd say that a 9/2 JS/JR C will be quite effective from mid-range, at least as much so as a 7/4 - but he'll take less training in general. JR training for Cs is extremely hard to do with relatively little marginal value. That's not to say that I'd never consider such a player as a C, and if I had the choice I would take the player with the higher JR, but I probably wouldn't train it for Cs - simply because the marginal gain isn't worth it.

For me JR is nice to have, but especially on the C's marginal. I would rate good FT's higher than the JR. How many 3pt's a C will get anyway? If i have 2 same C's but one has more JR, i will go with him, but on my priorities is very low..

Now if we are talking about a PF, then yes has more value but if a player has everything that i like except JR, it will not stop me from buying him.

if you have a C with resp JR, he will start taking a lot more 3s... under 7, they will stick to midrange even when they play at PF.

You can live with low HA if you have respectable passing,at least that works for me...But to say that JR is pretty much useless for a C,is pretty much ignorant.

I know this thread has moved in a different direction now, but I wanted to respond to this.
Oh i am apologize, i was in hurry when i was writing my post. Thats the correct link: (6895165)

Indeed my player is aggressive but 6,7 per 48 to 5.1 is a really big deference, and that some times means win or lose one close game.. Also somehow you have to explain it right? Aggressiveness is not the answer for everything, rather an excuse. Its just 1 part of the foul problems. Take on your account as an NT coach i have lots of data to backing up my statement.

It seems to me that moving your player from PF to C simply changed the frequency with which opposing offenses found this player to be a defensive mismatch, thereby reducing his fouls/48min very slightly. Can we agree on that?

Thats what i am saying man...Exactly what i am saying...Since C's getting much less outside shots than the PF's then i can hide his liability on the OD. As far as about his other skills i guarantee you that he is very balanced big man.
