Thats pretty cool.

heres some of my data I might as well share in reguards to the topic.

OD

Ricky mclean
Age: 18
6'6" / 198 cm
6 weeks trained in Outside Defense

4 OD pops.
1 ID pop.

I don't buy this. At 6 ft 6, in 6 weeks, you'd be fortunate to get 2 pops in OD out of him. 3 would be near impossible, and 4 is a big no way! 1 pop every 1.5 weeks traing Pressure on a 6 ft 6 guy?

Since your player has a relatively low potential, I think he can't become a superstar guard who can shoot, defend and pass marvelously. Skills like OD and JR count more towards potential cap than, for example, DR, HA or IS. That's why I'd train this guy to become some sort of Inside specialist guard. He doesn't have a big enough ID to be trained as a SF, but man that Respectable IS is sweet.

So I'd put more emphasis on Driving and Inside shot than JR, for example. OD should of course be as high as possible, but you don't have to stretch too much for a JR of 12, for example; I think 10 would be more than enough and maybe even 9 is ok.

That said, this guy with Wondrous Driving, Tremendous Handling and prominent IS would draw fouls like it's nobody's business. So I suggest One on One for SF/PF when you don't have anything else to train.

Bosses,

What level trainer are you using?

Jason, as i have been reading this morning, single player training with a L6 trainer can get a 18/19yr old trainee over 6'5" pops every 2 weeks, so its very likely.

Got some thinking to do....

He will need more than 1 full season of single position OD training, so not very good.
