You will have to convince me with stats and evidence. Im a theoretical kinda guy and don't like to delve into discussions involving opinions.... i like hard evidence!
You will have to convince me by buying a 22-24 year old SG with salary $20k-$25k for less than $700k :)

his potential is the big killer... he is only star pot and being 23 and still trainable this imo puts a big limit of his worth

im far to lazy to do that , and to be honest my interest in this game is almost gone .

as i said simply put he over paid , for a player that will not help him

ill explain why a bit but im not going to get too detailed

18 yr old - 5k-6k
19 yr old - 8-10k
20 yr old - 14-20k
21 yr old - 22k-35k

thats the type of figures you want to be hitting when training guards

so if the guys 22-24 n only at 20-25 k his vastly under trained thus worth alot less

as ezy has stated the guy also has shit potential meaning he is either capped or will cap soon making him worth even less

his money could have been much better spent else where.

ahhhhhhh I see where you are coming from.

From a 'ive got 1million in the bank, im new in division III and ive got this current roster - whats the best way to spend my dollars' - perspective..... then yes, total agreeance. He could have bought two younger better trainnee's, or one awesome trainnee or spend on arena size, spent on an older 29 year old with similar stats and cheaper, to make him competitive in games, and keep him in Div III without sacrificing dollars for younger player... etc etc etc....his money could definately have been more wisely spent elsewhere.

Phew... glad we sorted that out! I was beginning to wonder if I had missed something really bloody obvious this whole time id been playing the game.

I feel your pain, I lost to Team Thor, although Ididn't forget to set my lineup I just made it bad but still able to win.....

I didn't make my line up hard because I got Amee Allstars and a tough tournament game coming up, so I thoguht I'd go easy on Team Thor, but still win....

Damn....

yer its always tough that. You know inside out, how well your team plays when its full strength, but knowing how well it plays (or technically speaking, how badly) when it isnt full strength, is a tough thing.

and its hard to determine how good the newly promoted teams will play. Especially if they decide to CT.

i know you posted this ages ago, i was just re-reading some stuff today.

This

the guys got good starting stats , rebounding is nice and low which is good .

Im interested to know why low rebounding is good for a guy that could be a PG/SG? I would have thought opposite? Rebounding doesnt affect salary that much for a PG/SG, and with it being so low, its going to have a negative affect on the 'elastic-theory' in training?

So im just curious, ... why is it good? Not questioning it, just trying to understand the theory behind it. trying to steal your knowledges mwa ha ha

Rebounding doesnt affect salary that much for a PG/SG

i suggest you look into this abit more , because its completely wrong :)

rebounding lv 1 on a high end guard salary could be 60-80k
rebounding lv 7 on a high end guard salary will be 80- 100k

at low levels you dont notice the difference much but high end guards its going to cost you alot for little output.

its much better to have that extra pop on a high end center/pf then these pops on a guard.
