The South African coach went BOT so now they have no coach for two whole seasons. How would you feel if you had trained a player for their U21 team?

Back to Whitebeard. All the "questions" he has faced except for the one from Direwolf remind me of this famous Simpsons episode ‘Two Cars in Every Garage and Three Eyes on Every Fish’ where Mr Burns tried to get elected .

BURNS Ahem, Lisa do you have a question you would like to ask your uncle Montgomery?

LISA Yes, sir, a very inane one. Mr. Burns, your campaign seems to have the momentum of a runaway freight train. Why are you so popular?

BURNS Ooh, a tough question but a fair one. Lisa, there's no single answer. Some voters respond to my integrity, others are more impressed with my incorruptibility. (Lisa leaves the table) Still others buy my determination to lower taxes. And the bureaucrats in the state capital can put that in their pipes and smoke it!

(Lisa is in the kitchen.)

LISA Oh Mom, that felt awful.

MARGE Mmm... I'm sorry dear. It will all be over soon.

LISA But Mom, we've become the tools of evil.

Well, given that he is the only candidate running, it seems a liittle pointless asking detailed questions!

But hey, I will anyway, just to keep things exciting...

Questions for Whitebeard:

1. You mentioned in your speech that you are planning for the next candidate. Does that mean you see yourself as a one term manager, or are you likely to consider running beyond that? And given the lack of candidates putting their hand up for this round of elections, do you have any plans to 'groom' some future NT managers?

2. As people have noted, the offsite forums are pretty quiet (I'm as guilty as any, I've posted bugger all since I was U21 manager...). How do you plan on attracting people and discussion to the offsite?

Hmm, that's about all I've got. I like the ideas you have come up with, so good luck running the team, and I'll try to get my but over to the offsite and post a bit more often ;)

For now I'm only going to think about the first term. No point in getting ahead when there are many things to solve at the present time. In regards to grooming a national manager, I probably won't be having someone directly under my wing (aka assistant manager). Although I would gladly answer any questions about BB and mentor any managers that are in need of help. Honestly the best way to show you are interested and suitable in becoming the national manager is by getting involved personally. Whether is through discussion on the offsite forum, helping others on BB forum and even being active on mibbit chat. You have to somehow show other managers that you have the knowledge and dedication for the game.

Just like the other countries, I'll be posting about individual games on our national BB forum with a link to our offsite forum in regards to strategy. Hopefully this will be a step in getting people to know what is exactly going on.
