It's also your stadium.

I understand how you can think that adding to your stadium only brings the need to reduce ticket prices, and that, in turn, makes profit seem minimal. This is entirely accurate, though. The gain can be minimal yet can be very beneficial. If you manage ticket prices well, you can sustain a higher paid roster. A higher paid roster (not mono-skilled but balanced players) will usually get more Ws. More Ws means more seats filled.

You should also look into trading. A lot of people use it to build their bank balance.

You're completely right, the economy of the game is broken and so is the training.
HELLO, when people don't want their players to improve because they'll become to expensive, that's when you know there's a problem! When $500,000 salaried players sell for less than a mill because no one can afford to pick up that salary, there's another problem!~
And the other issue of training, it's so brutally slow. It isn't as serious as the economic system of the game though.

There's no contradiction, if the economic issues were sorted the quicker training wouldn't be an issue. I'm not going to get too hung up on the training though because I don't see that as a major issue. The economy is my main concern for the reasons mentioned earlier.

Promotion attendance "boost" lasts only for six home games

Are you sure?

I was relegated last season and despite winning all cup games, TV, rival and all but one league game, despite having a NT player, a borderline U21 player, despite having the best record in the league, despite having the top assist man in the league, the third top scorer, the 8th top rebounder, despite still having an original team player, a draft pick and 9 of my 12 players being Aussies my fans HATE me and refuse to come to my arena.

I have had 5 home games so far. If my fans forgive me after the 6th game and start coming back to my arena I will be so happy. I hope you are correct.

He said promotion boost not demotion penalty. You relegated, therefore your fans hate you for more than six games......The End.

I don't know, I had a team in my league last season that demoted from div III and he didn't fill more than half of his stadium untill the last few weeks of the season, and he was the division leader all season.

Yeah, I still lean towards the promoton attendance bonus ending at the return to interconference play. I would assume that relegation penalty would be analogous.

If people could easily afford the salaries of the stupidly overtrained, then those players would keep being trained even further.
