ehhh?
I just logged in and logged out, it all seems to be working fine. Whitebeard has been updating posts as well recently.
I might have a talk to Trickster and see if he knows what's going on?

Of course, I respect your input and experience as it is mate. You were the one who invited me to the PL anyways
Provided I get the position I will try to get as many people involved as possible, as I said in my previous post the Australian community has a right to input as it is their representative team

Excellent mate! Yeah it was me that introduced you to the PL and that has certainly proved you to be a great community member in aus. So you sure have my full backing and ive withdrawn my name from the list as i am very much keen to see you in the job, youve earnt it buddy :-)

Once you are successful i will get in touch and see what i can do to assist and i hope you can show me some of the plans and measures you guys have in place for the team going forward so we can punch above our weight as a nation. Im excited!

I would just like to ask a question; what strategies do you have in mind (if any) to try and incorporate a wider variety of managers from Australia, to get new up-and-coming managers more involved with what goes into the representative teams?

Besides the fantastic input from the 'veteran' managers that already basically run this Australian community, i just feel like there needs to be more people getting involved and more help i guess (not just answering little specific questions that people post on the forums) but maybe something a little extra. the one example that i can think of, is that, perhaps it is possible for the new under 21 coach to 'check up' on coaches who are training NT players more regularly instead of waiting for questions to arrive to them they could for example every 3 weeks just bb-mail coaches to see how they are going. i know this may include more work but hey if your going to be the NT coach, you know, should at least try to do stuff like this or similar.

I would also like to know how the new manager will utilize the offsite forum and again what strategies will they have to generate more buzz and interest in the offsite forum? Whitebeard has done an excellent job in his first season of posting loads of info about the National team on there, especially when he first got elected and its also great to see that he has kept that enthusiasm and work ethic throughout the entire season.

So yes if any candidates could address this post it would be great. and even though im a relatively new manager to this game i would like to see this post (and also others from other coaches) treated as equally as if someone of Yodas or Direwolf status were to have posted this comment.

thankyou

The offsite forums used to be kicking a few seasons back. Direwolf and co had a mentor program installed that would help managers get started with their arenas and trainees etc. Speaking of which this was how I started to become the manager I am today, I found the link to the offsite forums in my league forums. It may be a good idea to get our very own GM-Monkeybiz to sticky some topics in leagues so that when a new manager goes to complete their checklist it is the first thing that pops up in their forum.

Despite what you may think, an U21 and NT coach have very limited power when it comes to mass media on the forums, that's why we'll need to suck up to Monkeybiz

So, here is my question:

How are you going to advice managers at training their rookies? We all know it's impossible to complete the training of a high potential player in 4 seasons. Therefore you have to make some decision about what to focus on in order to be more useful to the team.

For the past seasons, Australia relied on a good crop of guards. Is it time to reshape the training programm and go for motion instead of look inside?

To be honest I'd really like a flexible team, one that can adept to most situations. For example I'd like to be able to have multiple offenses instead of just relying on one. That way if there are any gameshape or injury discrepancies we won't be screwed.

Having a few different skill set moulds for different positions would be beneficial to not only the U21 but the managers, who may choose a mould that would be suit their team whilst still maintaining the best possible chance to represent the U21 National team.

Oh and some good passing on our bigs.
