Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing. Tomorrow's game will give me sone idea of where I'm at as I play the Div II relegator who is also undefeated. However, strangely, he sold his two most expensive players yesterday. Is he going to buy something bigger or is he backing out of this season? At this stage, in terms of my chances of going undefeated, Kintoc's Flames and GoldCoastSH are my two immediate threats although a few others are stepping up their teams. I would like to say now (you heard it here first) that Div III.3 will become another Div III.12...hard to escape!

How about we start with who the Australian community thinks are the favourites.

III.1

Rather disappointing that this division has only received 7 votes considering in previous seasons it has been one of the more active leagues in the last few seasons. Anyway...

Both Fishy Kangas and Jerries picked up 2 votes each as Karmar went bot early on. This is the only div III to lose 2 of their top teams last season with both the Winnerz and Tannums Tantrums departing.

Jerries however look to be disappointing their supporters already 3 games back of the 7-0 Kangas. The Tornado are up there as usual representing the Great 8 on 7-0.

III.2

A better turnout here with 14 voters. Poppenpop and Magicvsbird are touted as favourites with 4 & 5 votes respectively. However 3 manager believe someone who finished outside the playoffs or promoted last season will take the title.

Magicvsbird clearly didnt get the memo as they are in a massive tank and 0-7. Popenpop are more promising with a 5-2 record, although are not looking as dominant as they did last season.

III.3

Only 7 voters again here. And they seemed to have narrowed it to a field of 3. Moorditj Magick with 3 votes, Flames with 2 and Gold Coast SH with 2.

The voters seemed to be paying attention with only a single loss between those 3 sides.

III.4

7 voters again. Maybe the same 7 people lol. Last seasons runner up Sambo 54s are the favourites with 3 votes while unheard of Dellas Stars are 2nd favourites with 2 votes.

Sambo has started well with a 6-1 record and atop their conference while the Stars are 5-2 on the other side.

III.5

The Favourites here are the Flow Gaming with 3 of the 9 votes while Sydney Sea Eagles and Home Axis are backed well with 2 votes a piece. With 5 teams on 6-1 there may be some other challengers to check out later, but all the favourites are there.

III.6

There are two overwhelming favourites hear with the long awaited arrival of Brisbane Thunder who have 6 votes and then the dormant III.6 stalwart Possum Chasers heavily backed with 8 votes. Both the favourites have dropped a game already this season. But at 6-1 things are looking pretty for the two favourites.

III.7

A very even comp here according to the voters with the Atrains with 3 votes and C U Next Tuesday, Springvale Shaquilles and Sonic Booms all picking up 2 votes a piece. The Shaquilles have the undefeated record, however have the other 3 hot on their tail.

Possibly a few teams voting for themselves in this division, but Unbeatables is the crowd favourite with 3 votes and Eggplantopopulous 2nd favourite with 2 votes.

The Eggplants wont have a say with their 1-6 record, Whereas the 7-0 Clippers and Demons weren't backed at all by the voters.

III.9

Div II relegate Learvins was looked over for the title here with Mayhem and Bringing Sexy Back polling 3 votes a piece, with last seasons Runner-up MTbreds polled 2.

The voters seemed to know what they were doing as Learvins struggles at 3-4, while the other three have had solid starts. The Wild Turkeys questioned their omission from the poll and have shown why sitting atop the Great 8.

III.10

The two ex div II teams receive the tags of favourites in the eyes of the public. The Meteors narrowly edge out Doncaster Flames as the favourites with 4 & 3 votes respectively.

Both sides are atop their conferences and looking good for title pushes.

III.11

The money has really come for Zazzocalypse to demolish their way back to div II being an ex ABBL team. They however had other plans and have tanked their way to 0-7 in an attempt to out-tank Tetrahedron for the top pick. We will take a closer look at the actual competing teams later on with 4 at 6-1 there will be some big games.

III.12

The league everyone has been waiting for! A fairly good turnout with 17 voters picking their favourites. The clear favourites with 7 votes are my lads the Gisborne Gladiators. Although Skyhook Dreamers are also well back with 4 votes, with 2 unfortunate souls voting for the erratic South Brisbane Vultures.

There were two voters who believed someone can drop from the clouds and take a championship away from the elustrious list of teams.

The Gladiators have disappointed to date with a 4-3 record, whereas the Dreamers are looking the best at 7-0. A few teams left on 6-1 who could have justified some votes.

If the poll was re-done now would the 4-3 Gladiators really get more votes than the 7-0 Dreamers or 6-1 Thunder (who may be the "other" in this poll)?

we have a tuff 3 game stretch now, i would expect us to drop some games...

Yeh people would probably vote Dreamers, just by looking at the ladder. But at this point the teams are quite even.

The other would definitely include SBV. Only seemed to have tried in 1 game. Unfortunately for me that was vs my lads. I am confident I can string some wins together and put pressure on tills for 2nd. Well depending on my cup run.

III.13

With only 7 voters here, it seems Awesome^.- have timed their run to perfection and are red hot favourites with 5 of the 7 votes. The only other teams to receive a vote were Branny and Big Black Wang. I can only assume that it is Fishy who voted for the Wang as he seems to have an infatuation with those things.

Awesome are as expected top with 7-0 with Branny right on their heels with 6-1. The Wang however have disappointed with a 2-5 record in 7th place.

III.14

It seems nobody cares about III.14 with a pitiful 4 voters, one of which was myself. Anyhow Fashion Victims got half of the votes so we can assume they are favourites.

They are 7-0 so they are definitely looking good so far, I think this division will take until the cross-over games are done to sort itself out.

Only 6 voters here with div II relegate Stone Slashers getting 2 and Foenix Suns getting 2. I am surprised to see that the Shepparton Shooters have recieved no votes, a team that has promised so much and delivered so little.

Stone Slashers are sitting pretty justifying their favouritism with a 7-0 record, while the Suns have slumped to 4-3 but still very much in the hunt for the PO's.

Well with 4 of the 6 votes coming for the bot Melbourne Kangaroos (no longer exist), i guess the div II relegate The Players with their 2 votes are the favourites here.

With a 7-0 record they are heading back to div II it seems, possibly fortunate for them to land here than some of the more competitive div III's
