I can't go into words expressing what I'm feeling without writing a short novel. Instead all I'll say is that what RG3 has done in 1 game for this franchise...is extraordinary.

Cause New Orleans is practically a cupcake and all.

Honestly? I'm shocked by our secondary. I knew the front 7 were going to be pretty to really good, but the secondary far exceeded expectations.

Ohhh come on!! My comment has nothing to do with how they played , or who they played...just more of a generalized statement based on the fact that I grew up a Cowboys fan, and it's in my DNA to hate the Redskins ;)

Oh really? I was assuming you were a Cardinals fan, and still held a grudge from over a decade ago when you used to be in the NFC East with us.

The residual excitement from that game still hasn't worn off, I woke up at 5am thinking about the game and couldn't get back to sleep. I'm unbelievably excited for our future.

That's the beauty of sports. 1 game can foster so much optimism. In my experience this lasts until the next game when the crash of defeat is so much worse.

I am a Cardinals fan :-) But we didn't get the Cardinals until I was 16 years old...I grew up a die hard Cowboys fan, but i did root for the Cardinals from day 1, except when they played the Cowboys :-) I lived up right up the road from Tony Dorsetts Grandparents, and was best friends with his nephew Darius as a kid. My dad was a Cowboys fan, and they had the hottest cheerleaders...so it was easy to root for them growing up :-)

I wanted to be more of a Cardinals fan than a Cowboys fan, but early on, the Cardinals still seemed like the "St. Louis Cardinals" to me...who were a big rival of the Cowboys btw. But they had the same players, same coach, same name, same jerseys. So that was tough. My family is also die hard Oklahoma Sooners fans, so it was tough to shed allegiance to the Cowboys when Barry Switzer became their coach...and they drafted a few of my favorite Sooners too.

Over time, my fanship for the Cardinals grew, and the Cowboys lessened slightly until it finally completely tipped about 7 years ago or so. I remember watching a game in which the Cardinals ended up winning in OT, but several bad calls went against the Cardinals and I was getting madder and madder, and when I started enjoying seeing the Cowboys QB get sacked, I knew I had turned the corner on who was my favorite team :-)

As an Oklahoma fan, I can remember vividly last season watching RG3 blast the OU secondary repeatedly....it was like a knife cutting through butter, and Baylor beat OU for the like the first time since 22 B.C. No doubt he's a legit QB, and you have plenty of reason to be excited...plus Shanahan is the absolutely perfect coach for him.
