You got to be kidding. Pretty sure you had this planned all allong. Taking out my best player within the first 6 minutes of the game.

My entire gameplan was hanging on Marichal today. Not sure how i'm gonna get this game, but you've just dealt me a major blow. Within talking about the fact that Cormans GS is blocked, despite having 3 perfect weeks in terms of minutes... gonna have to force him to play 100+ minutes this week. force him to have a drop in GS to make him rebound afterwards. i just hope that Marichal ain't injured for the other games, cause that would seriously bring down NT and club options...

ps: isn't that the second time that Marichal has picked up an injury after playing Bxl?

Hey,

I didn't know that hack Marichal was an option in the tactics page! :-)

We are halfway through the season already, and the competition is still very close. Wabeke & Wolves are 1 game behind Antwerp, Gent & Tool. But we have the advantage of a slightly easier schedule once the interconference games are over.
I think the difference between the conferences is not as big a last season, a couple of teams in our half have improved, and we also have a very decent new team with Saint-Servais.

SKW and TBS both stand way above the rest in there division. However, i have the impression that TBS is saving players for cup games ( otherwise, how can you explain some of his losses?) SKW is doing what he usually does.

your oppinion concerning us having the easier schedule, i reckon that goes for the Cookies team ;)

The problem with our conference, is that we got 3 teams (Falco, Tool and Angels) who could all beat eachother. If you include Cookies and Beerschot ( if they are in good shape) then any team in our conference could drop several games. We all know how important HCA is in the PO finales, and unless a team is hiding a serious financial reserves somewhere, then you can't win without having HCA.

I'm forseeing that atleast each team in our conference will lose 1 game, most likely 2 because certain games will have to be given up for training. That means that the best team in our conference will finish with a 18-4 or 17-5 record. i don't see TBS or SKW go that deep into the cup that they'll still be in it when the returngames of your own conference start, and thus they'll both win all games ( except the one against eachother). That means that the top team of the other division most likely will get HCA in the PO's. (the only way for it not to happen would be to see SKW and TBS lose several more games, something which i just can't see happening).

So unless another financial powerhouse like the suns comes, the team with HCA is most likely to take it all. that is why HCA battle this season is so important. It's hurting teams in our conference if the top keep at the top, because the top teams have the better attendance. and if you block off the top, you'll get a situation like Ventola created in II.2 a few seasons back, where he made the PO finales each season, but due to HCA of the other division, he kept losing the PO's...

So a lot is riding on this Season, for many teams. Falco and Tool need it because their players won't get any younger and could use the bigger paycheck of the BBBL to earn cash to replace there current players. Angels need it or it can't hope to keep Marichal in the team. So for 3 teams a lot is riding on this season... TBS and SKW don't have infinite time windows either, but with a less stronger conference, they can save more cash more easely and thus renew there rosters (or strengthen them) without giving up as much as what would happen for Angels, Tool or Falco.

well, i got lucky that you didn't plan on winning it.

i got a lucky break there. I'm also happy that Marichal isn't injured for the long run or for the NT. That would have really bugged me big time...

and apparently, it was Sebhilton who injured Marichal last time around.

Wrong. I was gently sitting on my bench while Karamanis had a very light contact with Marichal.
I don't hit opponents by myself, even if they desserve it :p
