Well...I feel pretty good. I thought the U-21 was pretty good the last two seasons. I do have to admit that I was surprised by how well the training went last season. Wins over Malaysia and Portugal were very nice.
I think the team will make the second round for sure and I think we have a chance beyond that if the trainers do what they did last season.
This team should have 3 or 4 players reach the NT team...Shinahara and Stunners Matsuyama should be ready by 23 or 24. Remember....it is very difficult for a 22 yr old to make the NT right off the bat.
And the problem with the U-21...I have some great bigs but they are limited by Potential and that is sad.
My dream.....is that when I face China in the second round, they forget to set their roster..:P

To be honest. BBKing has let me know what he thinks and what he wants for skills and then I bbmail the owner and let them know what needs to be trained. I usually start the NT talk when the player turns 21

Here is the new updated list with the new pops....We had some great pops but then the GS update wasn't nice at all...We had 3 players drop to mediocre GS...That is bad. But let's stay positive...
Passing pops=2 pops....Thanks Stunners and Myth Man
Rebounding=2 pops....good but one players GS dropped to mediocre
OD= 2 pop....thanks Kiyotake and Malice
BTW...I have added a new player called "The Raising Star" position. Given to a high POT. player owned by a Japanese user.
So I would like to welcome Torii to the team...and what do you know..BOOM!! an OD pop...gotta love it.

I like it (I'm sure Malice does too hehe)...

Yup... malice does like.

And Torii - he's just Larry.

The big difference between all the draftees was this....Torii was drafted by Malice not bought, so I thought I would reward the fact that he kept his draftee and is going to give it a go.
I sent him off with 48 minutes at PF so he coudl get his first RB training....

Yes, he popped in Rebounding.

And I am sure Mukai will be on the team before the end of the season.

Great post by Shinaga, excellent questions. Fantastic work here by YC and everyone.

I have some U21 news that may not be viewed as positive by all.

After missing out on all the good players on the draft I entered into negociations with Fendt to bring Ichiro Nishimura back to Kyoto. We have agreed on a price and it is in play. Maybe someone else will outbid me but it is looking like he is coming home.

This will give me a bit of a dilema.

3 trainees.

Ichiro Nishimura (25318371) Center
Weekly salary: $ 15 075
Age: 21
Height: 6'9" / 206 cm
Potential: MVP

Takayoshi Kawagichi (21305663) Point Guard
Weekly salary: $ 88 868
Age: 23
Height: 6'3" / 190 cm
Potential: superstar

Shin Shidehara (24273129) Point Guard
Weekly salary: $ 20 209
Age: 21
Height: 6'2" / 188 cm
Potential: superstar

I can't train both inside and outside at the same time so when I do inside "The Shinkansen" will get inside and when I do outside Ichiro will get outside. It will be for the best for all three in the long term but I know this season it would have been best to just blast the primaries of both. BBking has told me I really need to work on the inside skills for Kawagichi this season so that is probably what I will do most weeks if I get him. This week it is already PG training but next week look for a change as long as I win the bid.
