Again, no offense intended: but you learn about the same amount playing a scrimmage as you do playing a bot.

What????Dude the team that you beat in the scrimmage did not have his real lineup out there he was just trying to get gs minutes or training minutes. I think what GM was stating to you was quit being arrogant and acting like you have this game down to a science. In the 5 seasons you have wasted in D-V you could have earned a lot more cash from promoting to D-IV and hanging there for a few seasons. I mean come on most teams that are in D-V can promote on accident after 2 seasons. Just listen to what GM is telling you then you will be better in the long run. There is no way in hell that you can master this game in 5 seasons in D-V. Sorry if i have offended you but you need to be told.

I'm not going to go out of my way to offend you, but regardless of the way you look at scrimmages - they don't mean much as to assessing team quality, working out what works tactically... or pretty much anything beyond getting minutes.
They CAN mean something - for example once you're eliminated from playoffs if you decide and organise to play a game that both teams are trying in... then you might be able to figure something out.
But during the season? Not at all.

Dude... as you're someone who is perpetually in Div V, perhaps stop acting as if you *know* something, and take the opposite tack: seek assistance in getting out of the bottom division in your country.

If your "assessment of players" is in any way based on performance in scrimmages, youre doing it wrong.

This is a game of hard numbers and facts. There is no "courage" or some idea that youre giving your guys a chance and they will respond to you. The only thing that counts is skills.

Also the idea that you are "building" toward some future idea you have for your team, I must ask what are you waiting for? If you have this 2 mil in your bank, and the players that you claim can compete with anybody anywhere, why have you put off promotion this long? I for one am excited to see the Rucker Bad Boyz in the NBBA in about four seasons :)

Why won't you listen to these guys they are trying to help you out!!!!You will realize one day that your method to this game is completely wrong some of these guys have been playing this game for 10 to 15 seasons they have learned from their own mistakes and just trying to save you the time from making the same ones. It is great that you think that you have this game figured out, but i don't think you do i think when you do finally promote or move on with your plan you will be in for a rude awaking. You have 14 players with the highest paid being 11,120 then it drops to 6,918 you are at 14-0 so far so i would imagine you will be putting your plan to the test next season when you promote. I have a couple of questions for you if you care to answer #1 do you understand the importance of game shape and what it actually does? #2 do you ever tie your games or do you usually play normal?

I was just asking about your plan. 2 mil is a pretty number and all, but do you have any solid plan other than saving money?

You mentioned trainees possibly not working out earlier. What trainees are you referring to? I see on your roster 4 players between the ages of 18 and 20. Three are draftees that dont play and are in awful GS, yet for some reason you keep around, and the fourth is a 20 yr old with 2k salary and starter potential.

Its completely possible that you have an approach that I have not thought of, or am not aware of. Im just trying to get a better understanding of what it is.

im gine i dont need any help . im just running tactics and learning how they work, As far my draft players I m going to sell them I always do every year.

My point is my assesment are not the whole game nor am i aying i can beat everybody. That would be fololish of me. Im just just saying if a trainee doesnt do well in s scrimmage it would be foolish to play him real game and lose 5 games becuase poor play. that all.

I read the faq and guides .. Being in div V for 8-9 season dont mean in stuck, i alwys had the money to get a better team. if any thing I want to learn and do more fr my team before i promote. Thats all
