There's an A-league?? Wouldn't that be like betting on local comp basketball?

I had been offered box seats for every Roar game this season and just couldn't bring myself to go, I prefer a game where the excitement happens on the field of play, not in the crowd...

Can you guess soccer is not my thing...? LOL

But yeah, get the point, might match it up with a few other randoms, thanks.

Are you on anything this weekend?

Hah good call. +1 buddy.

The money is on picking the blow outs today. Ive got Knicks and OKC to win by 11+ (paying about 40 to 1).

was hoping either one of those teams will come thru to challenge Miami Heat, but it does not look like it.

Dam Miami for a back to back title.

Bulls are still destroyed by injuries, Knicks just not consistent enough. But the bulls have found a player in butler, I wonder if they will contemplate trading Deng to free up heaps of cap space for a SG?

Thats a very intriguing scenario.. But Deng has been great in the absence of Rose.
Just like back in the days when Kukoc was good when Jordan decided to play baseball.

A lot of top players are off contract next season if they don't resign this season

Paul Pierce (although it looks like he will be a Celtics for life)
Deng, Rip Hamilton and Hinrich
Dirk (Mavs for life), Vince Carter
Bogut
Granger (might be traded if they want to keep both David West and Paul George)
Kobe
Zach Randolph
Thabo Sefolosha
Gortat
Kyle Lowry

But the salary difference between Deng and Butler is 13Mil next season!!!! Butler starts at SF, and buy a SG for 13mil, Hamilton comes of the bench.

Which SG in the league wouldn't want to play on a roster that has :
PG Rose
SG ?
SF Butler (avg 16/8 last week or so)
PF Boozer
C Noah

Bench : Hinrich/Hamilton/Gibson
Coach : Tibs

You don't think Nate Robinson will stay?

I reckon they should get a SF and make Jimmy come off the bench. Need experience for the playoffs and Jimmy might not cut it in those important games.

Jeff Teagues brother, Marquis Teague could develop to replace Hinirich one day.

Who can they trade Deng for though? Granger? Kobe?

As much as that sounds like a great idea, Kobe to the Bulls, I can't see it happening. How about Tyreke Evans from Sacramento? He needs a change and still fairly young, could be a good role player alongside Rose.

he would be great alongside Rose, but surely the kings wouldn't be dumb enough to trade him
