The BBs disagree.

I asked about this very thing in Season 1 or 2, and that was the answer given.

The BBs are very adamant about not making changes to the economy without a good idea of what the long-term effect is.

If it was discussed in Season 1 or 2 and nothing is changed, then it's quite likely that they think the current model is the best thing for the economy at this point.

Is that subject to change? Of course, everything is subject to change. I just don't think it's very likely.

Ok, so I will talk to the BBs and see what THEY really have to say. That's not a big problem.

I don't know if there will be a simple answer, because I guess we need to discuss the subject throughly. Because the fan intelligence in the game is wrong and needs to be fixed, and I believe for a fact that the economy won't become unbalanced (it will actually be going towards the right way, since the way it is now is simply wrong for Cup teams), so I need to discuss with them and then we'll see.

One thing that has to be figured out is how to scale the cup v. league play.

League play is 22 games vs. an NBA season of 82 games. But the cup can be 12 games. If the cup were scaled proportionately, it would be like having a 45-game cup competition, but with some teams playing only 2 or 3 games.
