and here i am again. first BBBL team to get eliminated in the cup. ow well, it's not as if i was going to the distance anyhow.
As for Vekemans and the NT:
bad GS is a no-go. even if u would have a C with quadrupple 17 but with GS 6, then he's still not making my team as a NT coach. 50% of the time, i selected players because they were the best in belgium. those were my top 10 go to guy's, and if u check the hisotry of the NT games, it's easy to find out who they were. After that, i rounded out the selection with players who were slightely inferior, but of whom i knew that the GS would be good the entire season. to give an example of those players: Ives Wens, De Piano, Abu Hassan, De Neef, etc. any player managed by a guy of who i knew would keep him in good shape during the whole season usually got selected prior to those who's skills were better, but who's GS was only 8 or better for 50% of the time.
that is also one of the main reasons i never selected Erik Biermans. He was a great option at the SF spot. However, aslong as his club was in the cup, his GS was nearly all the time 6 or 7. that just won't cut it at the NT lvl
