All this "losing second game" thing can be easily solved by making first two games of the finals in RS leader's arena. And third one would be away match.

NBA? :) There are more games, of course. And probably you are right, it is always the winner of RS, who has the right to play last game in their arena.

But it is still an option. As it is not a real basketball tournament. It is just a simulation.

All in all, I am not againts current 1-1-1 system. It was just a wild idea.

i think there are 4 main reasons to tank game 2 after winning game 1

1) to prevent injuries: Internal's suggestion is very good to fix this (obviously it wouldn't help if game 1 was won by the away team, but overall it would improve the situation)
2) to make more money: move game 3 to monday. this way both teams will pay salaries (maybe just half of them would be enough, to be fair)
3) for the huge enthusiasm boost (game 3 is played the next day): the only solution would be eliminating the enthusiasm options for the finals, which would suck so i'm not suggesting it. both Internal's idea and moving game 3 to monday could partially help the situation
4) to have more minutes for training --> move game 3 to monday. paying salaries for training is an acceptable trade-off IMO

of course i'm not saying changing the schedule is possible... it's just my 2 cents

This just seems like another attempt to micromanage the game so that everyone plays in the same way. Leaving it the way it is adds strategy in managing effort so that you have the maximum chance of winning the series. Sure some people will do it for the extra money but so what? Getting an extra 300k in the top levels doesn't make that much of a difference and I bet that as many people miscalculate and lose the last game as win.

I like the idea of First place and Second place prizes.

I strongly dislike the idea of the last game being in a neutral site, to me that would too drastically reduce the significance of each regular season game.
