I'm actually not sure I understand why you schemes you chose. From what I could tell of Germany, they generally don't play a down low, around the basket game so 2-3 doesn't make a ton of sense. Even though their 4 highest paid players are centers, they seem to get most of their points from the other positions. Obviously it turned out to be 100% the right call, but I think I would have gone for more of a balance defense, which might well have been an incorrect choice. It appears as if you took it easy because there is no way they would have Crunch Timed us, I agree with this choice because it is doubtful we would have beaten a top 5 team so it is better to increase enthusiasm. As for the offense, it appears our best players are more guards than forwards so Motion makes sense. I may have gone with something like Push the Ball or Run and Gun because if I am going to take it easy, I think I may have a better chance to win by outrunning and outgunning the other team then by playing at a normal pace. I would also have a chance of getting blown out, but with the take it easy approach I think it was worth the gamble.

It appears Dlight is caught up on the effort level but I think it was a good choice taking it easy in a basically unwinnable scrimmage.

Perhaps you can offer your reasoning?

FWIW, both teams played normal. I'm told the game report was buggy and showed Germany played harder. You can't play CT or TIE in scrimmages, not even NT games.

Honestly, looking back at it, I don't think I intended to play 2-3 zone. Either another bug or a simple mistake on my part. Obviously, we have to make shots to have success, and on this day, the shots didn't fall. Ourguards are our strength now, so you have to go with that.

All of this is moot now, though, as Dlight (Tom) has won the election. Congrats, Tom, and if I can be of any assistance, I'm at your disposal.

i thought it might be a bug too the one with enthusiasm because the NT enthusiasm resets when the elections are over..
Anyway i want to thanks all for their votes, and i realise that the easy part has gone now the hard part comes. I will imediately send mails to all active users from SA and the current users that have players in the NT pool asking for their plans and maybe give them some guidance. I will post a new topic with the level of requirements for SA NT players. My first concern is we dont have enough C/PF so i'm going to ask around if we can do something about it.
And the last thing for now is to build a team of active users that are going to help me with scouting new players for NT and which could give me helpfull advices in training and tactics, im already thinking Luanda, Fooly, Boss and Dreamfire(btw Dream whats with your team?). Also in this team i would like to have gerrtv and maybe some of the candidates that took place in the election.
This is all for now thanks all for support and i will do my best,
Dlight(Tom)

i saw the game we had with germany, a good game but i dont think we can compare with the top 10 countrys yet...not just yet guys only train one position there so its difficult to catch up...but not imposible.
Hey we got the new NT manager so lets see were this goes ;)
If there's anything i can do for the South Africa i will so tell me :)
