I have read that the potential cap is very much like a "salary" cap. If that's that case, well rounded players will train longer.

I'm training Romero.
I think that the potential means an overall average status rather than skill by skill.

i'm not 100% sure, but it might be that Joly is caped as well. He didn't have any pops in about 4 weeks, not sure that is usual.

Edit: Never mind, It looks like training was not updated this week yet, for some reason

Luckily Joly did go up in passing, I'm relieved.

Just a friendly reminder for managers that have NT players in their roster, please make sure your players will get to play enough minutes this week, considering you only have two games.

Except for those that still have cup games. I expect that uflorin jerk to overplay Joly, for instance.

More seriously, Bussières has 37 minutes already, and the Panthers are still in the cup.

If you lose your cup match, you'll be able to schedule a scrimmage for Thursday. If you win your cup match, you will have another cup match Thursday.

After last game, this is how we stand:

1. Argentina 4 - 0
2. Canada 3 - 1
3. Colombia 2 - 2
4. Venezuela 1 - 3
5. Rep Dominicana 1 - 3
6. Costa Rica 1 - 3

One more game can either take us to 4 -1 or to 3 - 2. If 4 -1, then Argentina becomes 4 - 1 as well, and we can finish first, probably. If 3 - 2, Argentina goes 5 - 0. Should that happen, and should Colombia win their game vs. Venezuela, we could finish as low as 3rd place depending on score.

First four teams qualify and the place we finish on is not relevant based on GM's comments.

Further on, this is what we play in:
Americas Schedule: There are 18 teams in BuzzerBeater Americas. The teams are drawn into three first-round groups of eight teams and play a round robin from week 2 to week 8. The top four teams from each group are placed into one of two 2nd round groups, with results not carrying forward. 2nd round is played from week 9 until week 13. The top two teams in each group advance to semifinals during week 14 and finals the Friday of week 14. The two finalists qualify for the World Championships. The remaining semifinalists as well as the 3rd placed teams in each 2nd round group qualify for the Second Chance Qualifiers.

So, after week 8 (next game) we move to round 2 (with enthusiasm carrying over and results not). We will face 5 other teams trying to finish on top 2 in the group. Once the 4 top teams (2 groups) are decided, there will be a semifinal and then a final. Winning the semifinal automatically qualifies the teams for the World Championship.
Making it to 2nd or 3rd place in the second round will allow teams to play in Second Chance Qualifiers.

All these being said, the next game we play would be a nice win (I'll try for it, but it is not the first priority). Feel free to ask questions if anything is not clear. I will try to answer them if I feel it doesn't reveal too much, even though reading between lines, things should be pretty clear.

Best regards
