Very few of them will be yes. 18 yo are overpowered right now so it a fair change. 95 % of the 19 yo drafts are worthless right now.I doubt though that they will be "much better" in the long run because 18 yo are trained an extra season with youth trainer

I think 45 minutes is a trial test linked to stamina but the problem of teams with 5 excellent players and no substitute is not solved at all yet.
Again hope the effectivness of the players per minutes played will follow the age of the players, no problem till 25 years then if you wanna play 48 minutes with a 30yo player you must be penalized more than what we see right now.

And as announced previously we have been testing an update to Free Throws which will be implemented next season. This will make free throw percentages more realistic and also having Jump Shot and Jump Range become a small part of the equation.

I don't really know what to think of this: Is this more like a penalty on high level FT shooters with bad JS/JR (hence forcing us to train JS/JR) or a boost for players with good JS/JR with no free throws (so we don't have to train free throws)?

Would that also make the training court irrelevant as long as your player has very high JS/JR? Is BB regretting the decision of making training courts (hence those who invest in it will have freakishly high FTs) and trying to undo the mistake?

That said, in terms of realism, I'm not too sure. We got DeMar and LaMarcus Aldridge who can't shoot 3s but hit FTs at an 80% clip, and then there's Bruce Bowen who's pretty decent from 3 but just barely hits more than half his free throws.

It's aimed towards FT training court being too op. It's basically to battle teams hitting 99% of their free throws even when there's 40+FTA.

And it's been rather effective: My PF has 21FT lvl and 12JS.

His regular season FT - 59/60 (98.33%)
His PL FT - 28/36(77.77%)

And I dare say, that such a change is a lot more fair and fun. Since having a lvl3 training court can make your whole team almost never miss a free throw in somewhat 4-5 seasons.

Thanks for the example, now I think the change isn't too bad. I guess it's justified since high 70s isn't too bad a percentage for someone with a mid level jumper (since 12 is around the middle of 20).

what about BB players who can't make a FT? like never. 0.00% averages and stuff. this isn't realistic either. even ben wallace could hit 41% of his free throws. is this going to be addressed as well?

If JR and JS do have influence now, it's unlikely players will still shot 0% FT. Unless they have atrocious JR/JS/FT, but at that point, maybe they ought to change sport.

well, players with atrocious JS can make jump shots galore if they are faced with poor defence, however some atrocious FT players are unable to shoot a single FT during their whole careers, that's something which should have changed ages ago.

why not just make the FT% be more exponential than what we have now thru GS,STA and FT?... or will the JS/JR be the Floor and the FT be the Ceiling?
