Typical for me, surprised I actually got 2 on the second team. A little surprised Guardamino got a nod for the shooting contest... he has no range.

Not saying he doesn't belong, just saying it doesn't make sense to me why he's a better 3pt shot.

I won't name names, but there's a player on my roster who's 33.8% from 3PT in his time in a Porch Pirates uniform (counting cup/playoff games) and has only 6 JR.

And in S57, I got 2 guys in the 3pt contest, and the guy who shot 48% 3PT in games flamed out in the first round while the 43% shooter in-game won it all. (loser had 16/10 js/jr and winner had 15/11)

Skill ratings in this game can be really deceptive sometimes. A lot of it is how they combine with other skills.

During the All-Star Break, the Westbury Whalens look to their elder statesman, 63 Year Old Austin Lawson who has endured some stinkers during his tenure as a Whalen. Lawson constantly reminds the team daily to "try and suck less today than you did yesterday" and "if you don't make all your FREE throws then you have to rub ME Toes BRO!"

There has been some improvement throughout the season, which is encouraging, but Lawson has been getting way too many foot rubs due to poor FT% for the GM's liking.

GM Fat Jimi Whalen had this to say "this whole thing is kind of gross and I'd rather not talk about it if possible"

Random thought... My team is almost always last in points for, we're a defensive minded organization, so that makes sense... why do my admittedly average Point Guards, almost always lead the league in assists?

Your assist numbers as a team aren't that great, it's specifically the one guy bringing in like 45% of your assists. Which makes me think that either your PG has way better passing than your other players, or way lower scoring ability, or a combination of both. Those factors both tend to increase the likelihood that the last pass on the play is from the PG to somebody else.

Hmmm, we are a more traditional team. Point Guards Pass, and only shoot to keep the defender honest... I focus on passing and catching more than other thingsso always a little disappointed by the lack of other people getting involved (But I don't really do training, which should come as no surprised to anyone). Still its strange to me to see them at the top of the leaderboards, even when my team is at the bottom of the standings.
