This was my draft order. I got my 2nd pick, player 40 and my 7th pcik, player 13. I documented these here(318438.17) after the draft locked, but well before the results were posted.

scout# min fg 3pt FTs OR TR AST TO ST Blk PF PTs Str Pot Pos Grd Age Height
1 31 6-10 3-3 2-2 0 1 0 1 3 1 0 17 5 4 SG A 18 6'0
40 37 7-16 1-3 1-8 1 3 5 2 3 1 3 16 5 4 SG A 18 6'2
48 36 11-20 1-3 18-20 4 12 3 2 4 3 5 41 5 3 SG A+ 18 6'5
20 20 0-5 0-0 2-2 0 1 1 3 0 2 1 2 5 5 C A- 18 7'0
16 22 3-9 1-1 0-3 1 9 1 4 1 1 2 7 5 4 C A 18 7'0
6 31 4-8 0-1 0-1 1 5 3 1 3 4 2 8 5 4 PF A 18 6'9
13 31 4-15 2-3 0-0 0 2 6 2 3 2 0 10 5 5 SF A 19 6'0
30 31 15-22 3-4 7-9 1 3 4 2 1 2 3 40 4 4 SG B+ 19 6'1
14 29 10-14 1-2 2-6 0 2 8 4 1 2 2 23 5 4 PG A- 19 6'2
23 26 3-7 0-1 3-5 1 3 2 4 1 3 3 9 3 4 C C+ 18 6'11
43 26 1-5 0-0 3-3 1 2 3 5 0 2 3 5 4 3 C B+ 18 7'1

Player 40 (51957521)How is this player 6'0"? I'm not upset about it, but is scouting height not an exact science?
Player 13 (51957544)HOw is this player an Allstar with a 5 star potential?
The other thing, I scouted the draft picks before me, and NO ONE had drafted a 6'0" PG with 4 star potential. So where did this pick go?

I tried and tried to format that it was a copy and paste from Notepad

I've noticed this in the past, thats why this season I decided to document, the oddities, or atrocities, that have been happening.

anything is possible, however I distinctly went and hit to resubmit it, to make sure that is what I got.

draft was funnier when players didn't have a potential. this made every player trainable, except the ones whose skillset was just terrible

potential was implemented in season 5, this is a long time ago.
but yes, good times when allstar players ruled the buzzerbeater world

Honestly I just think that if the skill rating could be predictable it would already be a lot of fun.

the main problem is that the ball evaluations are (or were, hopefully) not useful

regarding potential, allstar should be 2 balls, then 3 balls = 7-8, 4 balls = 9, 5 balls = 10/10+
as for the skills, the evaluation should be made on TSP ranges and not on salary

I have something on my mind.

Imagine, draft without potential. You can see potential for example after two seasons, and it will depend on how much your player have played, scored points, average game shape, double-doubles, fouls etc.

would be great. everyone can not complain about it cause it would be only on manager how good his player will be.
