Well, he was a 0$ Free Agent, so his final price would be infinitely bigger than his original price tag
(yeah, infinity times 0 doesn't work (in basic algebra at least)).

A small Italian D4 team drove up a bit the price alongside autobids by Nachtmahr protecting the little guy. Then, I made sure to get him even though I'm OK with that Utopia team who made one bid in the end.

$350k for a 18y old HOF is an OK price even with the new draft. It's a bit high, but only in cases where people are protecting future NT players.

I have to admit I'm not quite what to do with him. It's just one trainee and I have noone else.

If I go for a point guard, the lad will be blocked by the younger guys by Wendell. I did that already ! SM Lee and BK Park are a tad older, so by the time my guy gets close to the NT, yours will be on the tail end of it, but I already trained JD Shin as one of the best SG in Korea history. Going for the double is meh. If you guys have some ideas.

Well, being the NT Manager, you can always decide not to play my guys (even though I strongly advise against that^^). But seriously: HH Lee was supposed to go into a SF-direction. With that 19y MVP that might change slightly but not entirely, I guess. And Han will be finised way before that young guy is close to challenging him. I'll just say that after HY Lee has hit his cap, Han, Kim and HH Lee will definitely receive some ID training. So all of those guys should at least be SF (outside oriented) material. Kim a bit less since his Reb is very low (leaving enough cap to make a nice guard out of him). And all things considered, I guess that's it's better to have more great guys on the team than less ;)

You could go for a defense support guard. PA, OD, HA and SB as primary skills. A player for Princeton and Box defenses.

And: congrats on the very convincing victory against Jamaica, Perpete! (74120) I must admit that I didn't expect HY Lee to start that game because HT Kim also had GS 9 and more DMI. But maybe you wanted the old man to play against tired players. Which he did in amazing fashion. Dishing out a team high 7 assists and scoring 16 points in just 20 minutes. He already became the first player with 2800 points for the NT and now it doesn't even seem impossible any more that he might reach 700+ assists ... still quite a way to go and he might not make it. But he'll almost definitely become the second player to play 200+ games for the NT. And that is something I wouldn't have thought possible a couple of seasons ago...

But apart from those records, HY Lee is very happy that he was allowed to start the game so that he could continue to be season leader in assists

So close to squeaking one out. This was our chance to squeeze into 2nd round, but looks like we're playing the rest of the season to not go winless.

Let's keep at it with the training. We're only graduating 3 players this season, so hopefully we get a stacked roster for next season in the consolation tournament. Let's get us homecourt!

Welcome Ethan! Great to have you here! And: take the advice from Perpete, those two guys are perfect to start training, Statsman (and Perpete, Nachtmahr and me) will give you advice on how to train them. Feel free to ask, maybe even here on the forum so that you'll get the quickest reply from one of us.

The great thing with those 3 trainees would be that you'll get nice extra income because they'll play on the U21 team. And your team will also get a lot better because you're training them. Then you can think about selling them or keep training them and potentially even have a NT player. And because they have the korean nationality, you'll have more merchandise income ...

So: buy those two guys, start training with a lvl 5 trainer, get a youth trainer (lvl 4+) and then you're set for a great season!
