I didn't see this anywhere, but I may have missed it. Sorry if I'm reasking this question.

If I do any scouting this week does it go onto my draft list? Or would it go towards next year? Or is it just a waste of money to do any scouting once the playoffs start?

Any drafting done now will go to next season's draft.

Really the stats mean absolutely nothing in my experience.

I don't think so.
If a player in your draft list has 5 fouls then I would be more likely to have a high fouling player if I pick him.
And if the player has 30+ points then I heavily doubt the player will have poor shooting abilities.

Don't totally discount it but it could count for maybe 2% of your decision. If you have similar players to pick from, then I would guess the betterbox MAY be a better player.

Even if you say that it was just one match and we don't know what opposition he was on, I can still see a use for it.

Can you smell what the Hobos are cooking... oh wait its just Roger. (18085274)

i think the game stats can only ever be used as a tie breaker

for example if you have 3 guys both 4 balls skill and 3 balls potential then use the game stats to order them if anything stands out and some people have suggested that fts and fouls are the highest predictors but i also like guards that have a lot of rebounds

however i would never put a 3 ball skill guy above a 4 ball skill or a 3 potential above a 4 potential just because of the game stats

it doesn't matter if you are online or not... You have to fix your draftlist in the way you want , order your desirale players , and then on Monday (28 June) it will be done automatically. For example in your Division you will "choose" 7th (worst win-loss record chooses first and etc). I put "choose" in brackets because you will not actually press anything at that time. Just when it comes at your turn , the program will see your draftlist and if your first pick is available you will take it , else you will take your second , else your third and etc...
this is how it goes , so no you are not supposed to be online :)

I would think game stats matter.
I once picked a 2nd round player who had enormous stats but not necessarily the best potential or star rating.
He turned out to be quite the scoring machine.

would a 4 ball 4 potential be a decent rookie as that is the best showing up in my draft
