Nah, we got a good group of young talent.

but if we are going to do something to put us over the top, we need a "wrinkle".

It simply amazes me with what Yasujiro has, the game engine just love to play the guy at SF. There is a part of me that wants to coach the NT next year, but with fantasy Football, soon Fantasy Bball and next seasons' cup...im still thinking if i have to time.

I just want the team to stay focused around players between 26-30/31. You can USE 32/33 year olds...but you MUST NOT depend on them.

Somebody let me a hold a no. 2 pencil cause they testin' me.

What Japan NT really needs is a third big so I can run Yasujiro at SF. and we can move our traditional SFs to SG.

What vision of that do you have for Japan's future? If you see Yasujiro at SF, who's the other big at PF/C? With the risk of sounding a bit conceited, I'm assuming it's K-Mat... what about the other young bigs - Wakatsuki & Kishita?

Still interested to hear what you have to say on this...

We have a high SB C we could try out in 1-3-1.. and we might mess with patient and see who it picks. We got a few offence only type players.

You also are just running blanks now, like you gave up. Like I said, I was fine if you did or did not run blanks. I am happy with some experimenting you did, I think you were open minded and tried some things...but it seems like you just gave up at the end. If blanks are not working ,run partials. .I see guys in that lineup that to me don't belong there, but you just pick twelve and run blank LI MtM...Not because that is the best option, but becuase it seems, to me, you have given up on finding a better way.

Also you don't need 12 for blank. 10 is fine. If you fill the last two spots with duds that eat minutes cuz the GE can7t see their holes...you shoot yourself in the foot. blank works as few as 9 with balance. With partials you can run 8 and it is awesome.

Nippon NT job is NOT easy, again I don7t want to rag on you. I just don't think you're giving it 100%

I would like to see fresh air next season. Motion, Princeton or at the very least someone who knows LI like the back of their hand and doesn't just run it out of reluctance/resignation. LI works with players built for it. If you just take our best 12 in theory and run them, we wont function well, and we haven't been functioning well...we got too many dudes on that floor with holes in their game. Saiki 10PA? and if you look at those bigs stats (IS/ID/RB/SB) every minute he took at SF was like a nail in our coffin. And the stupid blank is dumb enough to put him at SF AND PG...and he is death for either.

Full blanks is oldschool now. Those in the know have moved onto partials, and they work awesome.

There is a lot more to do for an NT coach than wait around for people to beg for minutes for their player.

i would like to see you try some 1-3-1, motion, princeton etc in your finals matchup with Kawaguchi.

by all means give me an example of how i can go non look inside and make it work.

Let's wait until he gets past Toranaga before telling him what he should run in the Finals...

You are playing scrimmages......wouldn't it be cool to set your own line up just to see how different you are from a Blank Line up.

Agreed... run an experiment like YC did (only do the 'control' - set your line-up - first!).

I gotta add my name to Wolph's in encouraging experimentation - especially at the moment. Tho' to be honest, I'd rather us try different things and lose than continually ramming our heads into the ol' LI/M2M wall.
We're never going to win/finish well by trying to play the same games as the big boys.

Good training this week....
Three players with full training for 1 position passing training.....
Passing for PG
Tohru Asano ↑popped↑ in Passing from average to respectable .
Soichiro Motoori ↑popped↑ in Handling from prolific to sensational .
Soichiro Motoori ↑popped↑ in Passing from average to respectable .
Masa Maeda ↑popped↑ in Passing from strong to proficient

Asano is closing in on 120 TSP.....I will finish him off with another OD/passing/SB/Driving/IS/JR and I will finish him off with an ID pop. I am hoping I can stretch him to 123-125......Then I will sell him at the end of next season for around 2.8-3.3 million.
