Lopez is one of the worst rebounding centers in the league, it's hilarious.

He's just plain lazy.

Seven foot hairy, ugly girls.

If you want someone to fill up your handicapped parking spaces I would go Bynum.
If you want someone to clothesline the smallest player on the court I would go Bynum.
If you want someone to disappear in big games I would go Bynum.
If you want someone to be injured for weeks at a time and keep your medical staff busy I would go Bynum.
If you want someone who can still look average when surrounded by maybe the best talent in the league who are attracting the best defenders and being the focus of the opponents then I would go Bynum.
If you want someone who is just a constant dissapointment I would go Bynum.

If you want someone who has a great attitude, is learning fast, is an incredible athlete and will look incredibly good suddenly being paired with the best passing PG in the league I would go Jordan.

I was like everyone else, just a season ago I was all over the Lakers front line, Gasol top 3 PF, Bynum top 5 C, Odum best big off the bench in the league and probably top 3 6th men overall. But subtract the support of Odum and Gasol and Bynum will be asked to do a lot more especially if Metta World Peace, an old worn out and pissed off Kobe and the worst PG in the league are your other three guys on the floor. Bynum looked great surrounded by an unstoppable Kobe, and an almost unstoppable Gasol, especially when they had athletic guys like Ariza but on this team I just don't see it.

Perhaps I am harsh on him, and perhaps it is because everyone had such great expectations, but all I feel when I think of him is dissapointment.

One bright point could be the new coach, perhaps he will get more out of him and perhaps he will like the new offence better.

Any thoughts on the all star game?

Happy to see I snuck 3 blokes into the team - including the ageless 78 year old Les Gafa for his 12th all star game appearance.

I reckon the great 8 looks slightly stronger, so reckon they might take it home this season.

In the three point shootout, I've got half the contenders, so hopefully I can take it out!. Don't reckon Hahi or Wazza are much chance, I'll back Asghari to win it from Goodall.

my backup C/PF got in .... WTF???? :)

Castaldo 19.5 PPG (8th), 14.5 RPG (6th) and not in top 4 votes but Dordecivic gets in. I always "enjoy" the randomness of all-star (and MVP) voting

But at least Durk snuck in as he does.

very random indeed, how did Wazza make it in the 3 point comp.. he has been playing as a PF all season.
but good to see ashgari back in the comp and he should win it cos he was robbed by couto costa 2 seasons ago.

but sad to see Wazza not in the all star game... maybe I should play him in his natural postion next season.

The perks of an early cup exit. Well I guess if we lose just blame my team. Interested to see how my team will go with a decent PG though (no one playing D will help too).

Pedrosa not getting a game in The AllStars Game as a Small Forward? Bit unlucky?

I think talk of Bynum being injury prone are a bit unfair though.

It's not like he breaks down in training like Oden... His three major knee injuries have come from..

- Landing on Lamar Odom's foot in 2009.
- Kobe falling into his knee in 2010.
- Landing on DeJuan Blair's foot against San Antonio in 2011.

Those required surgery in the end. But fair to say he was a bit unlucky in those two scenarios, because even after surgery it takes a bit of time to get the strength back, which limited his effectiveness for a while.

You can be unlucky. I have been unlucky. I have injured my foot and haven't played for a year and a half. It isn't the bad luck that is the issue though. For such a big man once the injuries start it is hard for them to stop. Think of Yao Ming, Ralph Sampsom, Georgie Murison (sp?), Greg Oden etc, those big guys once they start getting hurt it tends to continue. I just think if I had a big man who is still seen to have a ton of potential, who is a really skillful and even dominating player when in the right physical and mentl state, and who has great trade value, I would see if I could trade him for someone who is less fragile in every way.
