did the TIE vs CT have an impact on the match up?

how can I avoid this happening again?

Also, my match ratings indicate that I should have dominated the outside scoring game and kept his inside shots out. How did he score so many?

Sorry, I should have been more clear.

I think the written match ratings (mediocre(low)) etc aren't as accurate as the points per 100 shots ratings.

Lets take a look at your 100 shots ratings;

89.4 as PG 86.4 ---> This one is about evenly matched.
71.5 as SG 94.5 ---> He dominated your SG.
57.2 as SF 89.9 ---> He dominated your SF.
103.0 as PF 90.9 ----> You domnated his PF.
101.5 as C 119.5 ---> He dominated your C.

So he actually was better 1vs1 in 3 out of 5 position, and his PG was about equal.

This way of comparing things is not very insightful. The outcome here strongly depends on the actual number of shots being taken at each position.

"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

Of course. I was just trying to say that the written team ratings aren't the only thing to look at in the boxscore page.

you are right patje, i have told many people already, they are only an indication (a help). The real nummerical statistics are a way better indication of how your team played...

so if I had played a man to man defense that might have helped out more? I would have gone directly to trying to shut down his players more than shutting down an area?

you shouldn't have played with a slow offensive tactic, but I think your opponent stole you the match

my playoff games just ended miserably. I lost 83-84 to a lower seed team (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/BBWeb/boxscore.aspx?MatchID=1...). I regret didn't set to "Playoff Crunch Time", fearing my players, which veterans at most, will tiring quickly, but it ended up costing me alot and i always trailed in the game.

One thing i just didn't satisfy is, the coach decision. My reserve, Mohd Bin Japperi was hot shooting from the field but stupid coach didn't play him on 2nd half, instead he keep the Egor Osipov which keep bricking baskets. Really pulled my hair on that, but what can i do.... my season is over now... time to develop young players....

cheers ^^
