You're at home v LMA and coco will have no motivation to try to win that game, looking good for the bruins

Looks like it. LMA has no incentive to play starters (besides personal goals or something maybe), since there's no way he's stealing HCA away from Airballers (if he were to beat Silverbacks in the Conference Finals).

In other news, Silverbacks only needs 71 points this Saturday to break the 100 ppg barrier this season. Nobody else this season is close to his offensive output. Last time he played Finger Rolls (Away mind you), he had 98 points. He's averaging 101.4 ppg this season. So let's say he's projected to finish with 2230 points for the season.
- He's the first team since season 20 to break that barrier.
- It's his best offensive output since joining the NBBA in season 15.
- 2230 would be the highest point total since season 16
The following teams broke the barrier and made it to the Finals in the same season.
-Bullish Mentality S20
-LMA S16
-Chicago Bulls S16
-Chicago Bulls S15
-nth_mlb_giants S7
You'd have to go back to Season 6 to find a team that broke the barrier and didn't make it to the Finals. But the sim was a bit different back then.
So much for this sim being LI only huh?

Needs a strength-of-opponent analysis. All due respect to an 18-3 and perennially successful squad, but there are a lot of rollovers on that schedule. An early cup exit meant he never played compromised lineups, and his huge divisional lead meant lots of people weren't worried about competing with him either.
I don't have the time to look at box scores to see which of the 30-40 point wins were trounces vs. Heat-Spurs ripoffs but if you get tank jobs from KDB, BMG, LMA and the #2 in your own division in addition to the usual lower tier/bleacher teams then you'll probably put up a nice season statistically.
Long story short I still pick Look Inside
Maybe the playoffs will show us something though!

Well...fuck. Brian just had Xermade get injured in the 1st quarter. His normal 8 man lineup is now reduced to 6 for the game. Ain't looking pretty.

Shh, quiet you! It's way too time consuming to come up with a decent strength of opponent analysis, and how do you factor that into his offensive output without it being too subjective and wishy washy. Then you'd have to do that for everyone else in the league for reference...and previous seasons for historical comparisons. And...yeah.
At some point you just have to say fuck it and go with the basic stat.
At first I thought the PL would be a great indicator, nobody tanks a PL game. But then I remember everyone tries out funky tactics in the PL.

yeah, missing my backup gaurd forced it to 7 players. no room for error at that point, and error hit hard early.
vottem was missing a guard too, but im not overcoming being down 2 players.

This could get depressing quick, Lorenz has 4 fouls.
Edit: 5 now. And somehow 3 of those were offensive. That's gotta be a record.
