Yeah, you're dead on!
He's currently on intense OD training, afterwards, we are going to look on some 1on1 skills for him.

I'm hoping he would carry his current game from now, and just bring it to the highest level. All around monster! I hate to say it, but he's my LeBron!

Oh, having him on the u21 NT already, surely helps to gain more experience than normal.

Idea is to train 1on1 mostly on first year. Maybe mix some OD in the end. Next year OD/JR. Maybe mix some ID also.
Goal is to have some balanced SF/PF guys in the end after 8-10 seasons. Any thoughts?

Wow those are awesome trainees! If you want them to be balanced SF/PF's they kinda need everything, so starting with 1v1 would be good and then I'd work on ID and OD, but I guess that's just personal preference.

Why do you have an 80k center on your team in V. league? O.o That is a very bad way to promote out of V. league (probably why you're 0-4). I would actually sell him and try to get your money back and then buy four 20k players, instead of one monster. It will be much more effective, I promise.

considering i just got him yesterday...starting off 0-4 will be a minor price to pay in the end as i do have a plan and i understand the risk i am taking...i also understand the time i may be wasting...but i thought this thread was about getting thoughts on how to better train the players we post up...any advice on training him???

I'd focus on 1v1 and jumpshot for forwards. That way you'll get to fix the majority of his secondary skills the quickest. Currently you are paying him very much money for relatively few skills. If you train his inside skills further he'll become even more expensive while still turning the ball over all the time (for example).

Well I guess if you are set on keeping him, work on his secondaries, otherwise he will eat up even more of your teams salary. I would still sell him eventually because one player can't get you out of V. league usually and that one guy has over 80% of your teams total salary.
