I thought FT will affect salary too but in a minor way. The question is if the salary takes in account the visual skill or the subskill because if the visual skill is taken in account it should still be possible to train him on FT because the salary influence of FT is very little. If you know what I mean...

Anyway I hope you soon find decent NT players because bellens aint really a topplayer if you ask me :D

But if the potential is not reached (maybe yes, maybe not it's difficult to know), inside defense and rebound are good for his team and for the national team

I'm sure this player's potential is reached. The allstar cap is at precisly 50k from my experience. After the 50k he can still improve but it slows down considerably.

I just sold a 23yo PF, Ziv Shiqpler, he got 48k salary at the start of the season. In the 1st week he double popped at IS and ID, which made his salary definiately go over 50k. After that I trained 7 weeks of ID straight before he popped. So instead of 3,5-4 weeks it took him 7.

You can train FTs during the Playoff for 2-3 weeks. The big advantage is that you can play the playoffs without any constraints on the training. And if you are eliminated you can train all your team with only 2 games per week. And we will know :p

Well Im 5th anyway so I will bore myself to death (read : FT training) during the playoffs I guess :)

The french managers have made a little study about the potential. And there were many players (centers I think and of course all-star) who have reached 70k-75k without any slowing. That's why I wonder if there are (or not) decimals in the potential...

I think they just didn't notice that the players slowed down, because 70-75k is way to much (yes even Mathiot capped earlier). At the higher levels 1 pop can mean a huge difference already. There are some good thread in BB Global, Help and Suggestion forums about potential, I can't find them right now but here's a list which should be pretty close to reality.

bench warmer - 8k
role player -13k
6th man - 15-17k
starter - 21-24k
star - 33-40k
allstar - 40-65k
perennial allstar - 80-100k
superstar - 125-145k
MVP -165-195k
hall of famer - Unknown
all-time great - Unknown

I think benchwarmers reach it sooner. unfortunatly I had the 'pleasure' of finding that out myself. ;)

6k might be a better estimation if you ask me.
