well done brett.

it looked good early and there was nothing in it at the end of the 3rd. then utter capitulation. lack the range from my guards. woeful from the line in the last aswell.

looks like back on level terms with skyhook.

I dont think we will be even for long.. you should beat Crunch Towers, but just be wary of that CT..

I will lose to MM, so by rights i should be 1 game behind again on Tuesday. MM are definitely legit.

Very happy with tonites game.. Atoy got 48m, had a comfortable W, and i did remember to TIE after all, and i was only 2 points off the margin :P

Very happy with the attendance as well.. 2 wins on the trot helped bring the fans in, i might need to consider another upgrade if this keeps up!

Didn't get the chance to see the game or the results until now so stoked, happy that my boys chemistry was enough to match your monsters. Well done to the Ranga as well, CT'd I would imagine but probably a good strategic call to keep that buffer on you bains..

Well no-one predicted that I would beat Sammy by 44 while giving my 18 year old trainee 48+ minutes. But far more impressive is the Mad Rangas taking down Be High by 19 with his tiny little roster. He really is halfman-half amazing. Beasts continue to be able to play 3 games a week and win them all, an awesome job of minute management there. But the biggest news of the round was the game between the two title favourites ACT Blaze and Bainsynators plebs which ended upas a comfortable 14 point win for the Blaze AT the Plebisite Arena. Looks like the power has shifted to the Great8 with ACT and MM now looking like the two top teams in this league.

So is this now the pecking order for this league?

Skyhook Dreamers

A pity that 5 of the top 8 are in the Big 8 and someone good will miss the playoffs. Not us this season, we had our tank, this season it is full steam ahead even if we are half a step behind the top 4 teams.

On a different topic. We in this league love to train but is this the best teained 19 year old (before the asb) you have ever seen? How did he do it?

Weekly salary: $ 7 581
Age: 19
Height: 6'0" / 183 cm
Potential: star
Game Shape: respectable
Jump Shot: prolific Jump Range: proficient
Outside Def.: prominent Handling: prominent
Driving: prolific Passing: average
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: atrocious
Rebounding: awful Shot Blocking: inept
Stamina: average Free Throw: awful

That is a minimum 4 + 2 + 3 + 3 + 4 pops if he started with everything respectable. Just the OD and JR would take me nearly a season (about 12 weeks), how did he fit in all that 1on1?

Cheers mate, but yes that 19 point win came only because of HCA and I played 1 level higher than him.

Very impressive, even more so when you see his potential is only star.. I didn't think JR popped with 1on1, the other 4 feasible for sure.. I also found your previous post, interesting, I appreciate the centiment but I would've thought beasts would still be the top contender for the big 8, sorry bains but I personally still have my focus set on the beasts. I am also not sure about my position with MM, I did lose to him first game of the season. Guess we shall see soon how we fair against the heavy weights in each conference.

14 pops in 1.5 season isnt that quick i would have thought.. he is good height for PG training, so that would speed it up.. the fact that he is keeping all the skills even helps to get them pop... elastic band effect..

My man has popped 5 times this season, and with still 6-7 weeks + playoffs left, i hope he can pop another 4-5 times

Nice player tho.. give u 100k for him :P

Beasts are rocking at the moment. Like you say, 3 competitive games a week is hard going.. :D

Blaze and MM out Red way seem to be the teams to beat for sure.. Be high just seems to stayed on par with last season, whereas those 2 continue to grow.
Be High doesn't appear to have any trainees at the moment, so whilst he keeps relying on his good players, teams doing good training programs will soon steamroll over the top of him.. Tabor doesnt seem as threatening this season...
I would say the Dreamers and the Spartans at this stage are on par.. scary how strong the blue side is, on the red side, the dreamers would be well and truly in the playoff hunt.
I just cant see how we are gonna leapfrog any1 in front of us, could be in this div for a very long time, assuming i dont relegate :D

well i'll summarise it for ya

my side got off to a very quick start taking a good 1st qtr lead. with your side steadying to bring it to only 6 at the half. (i think). it was kept tight all through the 3rd and then you crushed me in the 4th. big difference was my teams lack of range in shooting and a massive problem with free throw shooting in the last.

i saw durstein to be the player i need to stop, so concentrated on him but he caused chaos and won you that game i suspect.
