Lucky for you I didn't try.

I had the HCA which is amazingly powerful so even with normal effort I suspect I still win and a CT would just have helped everyone else.

But seriously what a round of surprises.

The Immortals put a 70 point beating on Pancakes with Jam and Cream and knock probably one of the top four teams in the ABBL. Shows not to underestimate game shape.

Of the top six salaries in the ABBL only three are in the playoffs. Looks like the last minute buyups are still a factor, but not too last minute abigfishy, his new rent-a-beast with the horrible GS looks like a massive white elephant.

Black Label Society putting the massive beat down on Aussie at home and with more effort drops Aussie to third where they play away to the in form Immortals, good luck with that.

But obviously the match of the round, the one no-one saw coming, the one point upset of the mighty Koopasaurus by the lowly West Indies with Thad Hadley just having an average night at the office with 57 points and who fittingly scored the winning three with 24 seconds to go. When did you lose your lucky charm Koop? It is long gone!

So the first week of the playoffs in almost anti-climatic.
Seagulls will beat Goldfish easily.
Immortals will bury Aussie Pride.
Stone Slashers should deal with Monkey Business.
The match of the round is obviously Whitebeard vs Koopasaurus.

In relegation
Pancakes with Jam and Cream will destroy West Indies but after tonight I suspect they will not toy with them and will try to end it in two.
The other match of the round is Coin Collectors against Urmummas two of the top salaried teams in the ABBL. Urmummas have homecourt but this could go either way.

I am going out on a limb and predicting an Immortals v Whitebeard finals with Whitebeard taking it in three.

She said lol cause she tanked.

BTW, by didn't try, I didn't mean playing TIE. Other factors were invovled. Doesn't mean I would have beaten you, just did not try to.

C-Cat is a she? All this time I thought C-Cat was some tough football playing plumber. This is big news.

I planned to use my best team against you but somehow you fouled out my incredible SF Sperbert in 12 minutes. He doesn't mind a foul but 12 minutes! That is a Gab Wall like performance. As you can see from the box score that let your SF Albert Sala just go crazy on my team beating up poor old Vallo Tammela who is not just old and rarely used but in poor game shape. If Sala had been facing Kumar, Barton or Dexter I guarantee he would not have had that 57 point outburst. So the irony was by not running a training lineup it actually hurt me. During the season I would usually have Kumar or Dexter for 48+ at PG and the other backing up SF with their deadly lockdown defence.

Have a look at my lineup and tell me if you still think GS had anything to do with it. At my court i could have eaten Immortals for breakfast if i wanted to.

Well I'm not a plumber, and i was never a tough footballer, i ran around getting cheap kicks on the outside so maybe that's where the she comes from...

Your lineup is insane, maybe the second best in all of Australia. However the Immortals guys are mostly in proficient game shape and yours are mostly in respectable. So sure Degas, Scroggins etc got 18-20s in 10 minutes of game time but the Immortals were getting 17.5-18.0 from their top guys playing starter minutes.

Obviously you ran your bench that match. Obviously in equal game shape I rate your team above anyone except Whitebeard (who must be secretly thrilled he doesn't have to face you). Obviously your team would slaughter mine.

You dominate the Immortals at the guard spots, Hahi bin Awang is nice but Mark Runciman and Brent Degas would destroy him. The Immortals have no SG, yet another team with just multiple PGs. I saw Ahoura Rahmati their SF for sale and he is quality, I don't know what Aditya Khare has but I suspect it would be a reasonable contest.

Then there are the bigs, clearly the strength of the Immortals. Dylan Scoggins is incredible, on 2 million DMI this week, but Pourang Daraei Fard is on 4 million. Claus Querido is only 23 and being trained so I am sure he is worth lots more than his $114k salary, he would easily beat Humair Sharif if they were on the same game shape but again it is respectable vs proficient and I have to go with Sharif. As for backups then they have Meto Fountain, a fair luxury to have a $150k C in strong GS to come off the bench.

Eat them for breakfast? Sorry I am not buying that. You would win the guard battles, be about even at SF and lose inside. I think it would have been a tight game. Even out the game shape getting Degas and Querido off respectable and more than one rotation player on proficient and then you eat them!

Looks like you get to eat the Windies instead.

I was sure you worked for the plumbing supplies company with coachnoodles, whompa, mango etc but maybe my brain is malfunctoning, which I admit it is, I am sick as a dog this weekend, dizzy, clumsy, falling down, weak, etc can't even sit at the computer for long so I apologise if everything I have said is rubbish.

Thats a very good summary of the gameshape, DMI and matchups. Can you do one for me and whitebeard? I know my chances of beating whitebeard are slim but as the saying goes, you got to be in it to win it.

Looking at pancakes and Immortals rosters, it looks very equal but Immortals HCA will win it for him. Pancakes is one player away (someone to help Scoggins) from contending for a title against whitebeard.

Koop I think you must still be in shock from last night. That is also when Pancakes and Immortals played. Now Pancakes are sixth, I guess they wanted the extra training games they can milk out of the Windies.

Immortals have to take on the remaining half of the Aussie Pride team, can't see that one being close.

It would be interesting to do you v Whitebeard. My next job though is to decide how I feel about my matchups with the smelly Fish.
