Yeah I still got to play him not looking forward to it now. He has come along way from not even posting a starting lineup for a game. lol

Ouch. Thought for sure the 3-2 was the way to go, then he pulls out his first inside offense of the season. That + road TIE = Ugly Ugly Ugly. Only 60 points and 17 turnovers. Only good thing to take from this game is the enthusiasm boost and a bunch of rebounds for my new center (older players are great value on the TL). Sure his counterpart scored 29 but I blame that on rolling with the absolute worst possible defensive scheme.

You should have looked at my PL match. I used LI there.

I had no idea you were going to TIE. I regret not doing the same now, but oh well. I was surprised you stayed with me on the boards. Also, I'm a little impressed your 3-2 didn't fare better. My offensive flow isn't great and I didn't get a lot of assists, but somehow my C/PF still were able to get the most shots. I'm a little surprised my guards weren't forced to keep the ball more.

Oh well though. Now Tachenko can rest easy that he's in the same position he was in prior to losing to me the other night.

close game for you under the witness of Crank Dat, Flames and Myself in the chatroom together...

I was debating about 3-2 zone or MvM before the game...guess i would have got this one if i chose 3-2zone?

At least i found out that Carmona can possibly be slow down.

Yeah I did see the PL box score but not until it was too late haha. I've played it safe with man to man most of this season and should've just stuck with it. Not sure it would have made a difference with the way my offense played anyways. I sacrificed my optimal lineup for training purposes this week but I'll probably shelve that for the rest of the season to try and push my way out of 4th place and a likely auto-exit in round 1.

Game 17 recaps

Champaign at Phantoms

Champaign has put alot into the last few games. Unfortunately it has not paid off. Without manangement this team appears to be lost. This game was never close. Phantoms 122 Champaign 52

VD's at Crazy's

VD's came out fierce in this one and put the defensive clamps on the Crazy's early. The Crazy's put 5 players in double digits which is usually good except when the high scorere only has 13. Benson and Wilson came out and made a statement tonight dropping 35 and 27 respectively. Bottom line is the VD's were flat out better then the Crazy's tonight and embarrassed them on their own court. VD's 97 Crazy's 71

Dutchmen at Flames

Tomas for the flames was hot tonight draining 29 on the Dutchmen. The Flames went with an inside look which most would not expect but with a couple more wins needed to avoid relegation anything may be possible. It probably is fair to say that the Dutchmen underestimated this new look team but I don't think anyone else will after this win. Flames 79 Dutchmen 60

Tachenko at Terrors

Tachenko looked to keep a balanced offense while the Terrors wanted to take Mayagoita head on. Consistent scoring and rebounding by the Terrors kept them in the game while Tachenko locked down on defense and created some turnovers. In the end the turnovers cost the Terrors and add in some missed free throws and that equaled a loss tonight. Tachenko 106 Terrors 96

Blasters at Crank Dat

Both teams looked to score often in this one and the guards were firing away. The Blasters Ichaso tried to keep his team in it but when Junde and Abrach are both on very few will be able to beat them. Even with the Blasters putting a little more heart into this one the guard play from Crank Dat was too much. Crank Dat 106 Blasters 87

Cats at Prov City

Wow very close one here! Talk about a fan pleaser especially for the home team. Both teams had complete team efforts in scoring. The Cats put four players in double digit scoring and was two points away from having a fifth. These two point would prove to be important as the Prov City boys had 5 people in double digits with the last only scoring 10. Yes I am intentionally being confusing.............Bottom line this was a one point game. If the Cats couldn't get thier boys to hit another one from the field to win it, it would have been nice to have two more from the charity stripe. They missed 7 as a team. Prov City 89 Cats 88

Phakeouts at Challengers

Phakeouts have struggled a bit lately and looked to put the Challengers away at thier place. The Phakeouts looked low and the Challengers shot high. Hanks had 30 for the Phakeouts but in a reocurring nightmare for the Phakeouts coach the team had 24 personal fouls. In the end this was the difference in the game as the Challengers scored 19 from the line. Challengers 95 Phakouts 83

NP at Allstars

The NP gang has had phenomonal guard play throughout the season and it continued tonight. The Allstars had a great team effort as all their starters scored in double digits. This is one of those games that looks close enough on paper that you would think the game would be closer then 10. But in the e nd more rebounds and home court helped the Allstars win at home. Allstars 94 NP 84

MVP Junde and Abrach duo for Crank Dat
