Haha nah, i'm still focusing more on training than championships at the moment and even Schneider in the team wouldnt have put me over. Guards wouldnt have matched up to WB this season.

I was definitely surprised that there was no bid war or anything for Schneider, guessing it was too early on a Sunday morning for most people :P Schneider and Lonergan should make good training partners and be just about ready for the NT towards the end of next season hopefully :)

I expect the thing that put people off Schnieder is the fact that his salary will probably be around 200K next season you'd think, which will sting a bit.

If he's managed well though, he'll be a gun for both club and country.

Surprisingly he will only be around 130k to 140k only. His primaries are not that high yet.
And he has around 14 skill points left before he caps out. So he will be a very good club and NT.

Anyone going to predict how the relegation series will go?

Hmm, yeah I was just assuming he was being trained inside this season and would shoot up, but rmembering his skills, he was probably being trained outside.

In which case, given the Australian player love around here, he is a steal ;)

On the relegation side of things, I would have thought the home eams will win.

I think Bluey will be surprised to be there, looks like both he and Adam tried to tank the last game to grab 8th and the better draft pick but Adam tanked harder.

Blood oath mate I was floored. Been a funny week, shoulda bid a lot more on Scotty sure aint short of dosh, maybe not gettin the draftee I wanted but still a grouse 1 cause there are 3 about the same. Nearly cracked the $300,000 mark this week.

I see a pattern... as soon as buy a better doctor for the PO, a major injury happens. Same thing happened with Radford.

Wazza out for 2 weeks! LOL I should've just stuck with the lvl 2 doctor I had all season.

God punishes those that try to "rent" a championship in the ABBL. You need a $1.4 million salary all season like Bryce.

I've had a level 3 doc for about 5 or 6 seasons now, barely got an injury.

Still remember back in the old days I had a level 1 doctor for ages, and had no injuries. Decided to get a level 10 doc, and next week Grigg goes down with a 2 weeker. Since then, I've decided doctors are useless ;)

My season is over, well done Koop. I was just tooling about and I noticed this.

Anyway I was checking the teams on a tool I sometimes use to see how good they all were and I was very surprised. I know some people don't like this measure as like all BB measures it is flawed, but here are the findings anyway.

The third best team in each conference is in a relegation series.

Monkey Business and I should probably be in a relegation series.

The Tigers and Wombats despite being at the salary floor all season aren't much worse than the rest of the league.

The top three teams in the ABBL are all Great 8 Whitebeard (we all knew that), Koopasaurus (we all knew that) and the Guanzheng Goldfish (which totally shocked me).

Whitebeard isn't as far ahead of Koopasaurus (and the Guanzheng Goldfish) as I thought.
