So my theory turned out to be true. In creating more advanced end of game tactics.. we implemented a more intelligent fouling system in which a team tries to force a bad FT shooter to get fouled.. but at the risk of giving up an easy dunk. In implementing this, we forgot to tell the output what kind of shot it was, and it was simply assuming it was whatever kind of shot it was before, even though internally it counted the shot as a dunk.

So in summary it effectively was a presentation error. As far as the GE was concerned it was a 2 point shot.. it was inteneded to be a 2 point shot, but it was getting falsely output as a 3 point shot when the previous shot happened to be a 3 point shot. So the result of the game was correct, the logic of the game's result was correct, but we confused the matchviewer by giving it inconsistent information.

I have fixed this bug and it won't happen for games going forward.
