Epic All-Star snub for Eric Bradbury, I had him as my lock of the week but he ended up on the wrong positional ballot because apparently it goes by minutes played not games played (192 at PG vs 185 at SF). Had he been on the SF ballot as I'd been aiming for he would've easily been the starter. Instead, Butkovic is the starting SF and overall leading vote getter despite only averaging 11.6 PPG, 5.4 RPG and 4.2 APG. A further consolation is Novakovic also making it as the backup SG.

Sometimes I just feel as though the ASG and MVP voting is conspiring against my boy Bradbury (got shafted last season too in the MVP voting...)

Lol looks like you were right.

YSD the ASG voters were right to vote in Lockwood (exU21 USA) & Roche (would have been Aus U21 easy but was a 19yo) so that we can see some big time players.

Big 8 kicked our butts in the inter-conference play this season. It's similar to what happened to me in Season 21 III.5, except this time I'm in the weak conference and there's a clear 8th placed team in the strong conference.

Fairly much but still got some fear, I beat Moosas Mad Men but respect, they have some ballers. I hope to get better backups eventually & that may be enough if we meet unless they upgrade too. Jerries still looking very strong.

Logged on 3 minutes too late to roster my new guy.
Away game.
Got crunch timed.
Jeremy fouled out for the first time in his life.
& I still just lost by 12...not too shabby baby.

In that case I think you'll beat him in the playoffs. Crunch Time at this point of the season is a dangerous move at best and suicidal at worst. Wouldn't surprise me if he loses to Rogue Jedi Knights AND The Supreme Team before the regular season ends.

TheFlyBallers are making a late run for the title in the Great 8 and will probably claim the 3rd seed, but I still think I can beat his team with the HCA advantage and make the conference finals.

If I don't promote I am going to be selling up all of my older players and starting a complete rebuild. Either way I will be no threat next season.

My upcoming play-off analysis, starting with the Great 8;

Moosa's Mad Men: This team is a bit like the Miami Heat, both in having several star players on the roster, and typically using high shooting efficiency to win their games. Right now he has a 'big 3' of Porto, Ligi and Mosev, and with Rondon's scoring prowess this season it's more like a 'big 4'. Hard to see anyone beating Moosa as it stands now.

Strengths: Multiple scoring threats + outstanding offensive flow = Unguardable.
Weaknesses: Depth issues. And why is he selling Sobilo?

You Should've Dunked: Big similarities to the Memphis Grizzlies found here. Both teams excel on defence, share the scoring load between several different players on offence, and find ways to win despite having seemingly zero 'star players'. Underestimating YSD is a bad idea.

Strengths: Excellent team chemistry on both ends of the floor.
Weaknesses: Lacking in raw talent. Game shape, enthusiasm and strategies can only do so much.

TheFlyBallers: A recent squad overhaul has this team looking like the LA Clippers; Kaihong (CP3), Gao Li (Crawford) and Corts (Griffin) is a formidable big 3. But after that... where's the squad depth? Yunlian and Armit leave a lot to be desired in the SF and PF slots and this may cost them dearly.

Strengths: 3 of the best players in the league, all on one team...
Weaknesses: But it takes 5 players to win a game of basketball.

Dawesville Hoops: Two bigmen of high quality and a scoring point guard make them best resemble this season's Chicago Bulls. Between Samolag and Jung Oh, they have a great interior, and it's backed up by solid outside players, especially Streiter. But there are glaring flaws in their squad that will prevent them from going far in the playoffs.

Strengths: Well balanced starting 5, good all-round offence.
Weaknesses: Terrible defence, Almost non-existent bench.

And now the Big 8;

Jerries: They best resemble a high tempo version of the Indiana Pacers, in that their strength is rebounding, and their scoring comes from several different players on the team. The big difference is that the Jerries have better 'star players'; Hundorfer and Migas both have a great chance to win MVP this season. The Jerries also have good roster depth... in theory.

Strengths: High scoring offence, no fewer than 8 players of 10k+ salary...
Weaknesses: But many of them are in poor game shape right now. Must improve.

Springvale Shaquilles: It's difficult to compare them to any NBA team, but the best fit, in terms of offences that average many assists a game, would be the San Antonio Spurs. Between Roche and Lockwood, the best defence when Springvale gets the ball inside is to foul intentionally and hope they miss the free throws. And don't underestimate their perimeter players either!

Strengths: Two of the best bigs in the league and decent support...
Weaknesses: But if either of them get an injury, the squad is crippled.

The Supreme Team: By contrast, TST love to play small ball and have a lot in common with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Porte is averaging 23 PPG and 7 APG, whilst Koshin is on track for a 50-40-90 season playing at SF. But individual performances do not a team make...

Strengths: Their perimeter game right now is only rivalled by Moosa's.
Weaknesses: Horrible squad depth. And Porte got injured last game!

Rouge Jedi Knights: They are best compared to the Golden State Warriors in that they rely heavily on outside shooting and their top scorers are all perimeter players. Similar to David Lee, Brunialti makes sure that the Knights aren't weak down low, but this is definitely an outside orientated offence.

Strengths: Multiple three point threats in the starting 5.
Weaknesses: Seems to be lacking in raw talent, arguably even more so than YSD.

You don't want to know how long it took me to do the research and write all this up...
