Thats nuts. Looks like you and stone slashers are fighting to stay away from that last spot. Ands you both have rosters that are good enough to make the playoffs on the other conference.

whilst on our side, goldfish and WA are trying to out tank each other on salary floor.
@ HSD - we'd be silly to purchase any more players, theres no need.

Well Scoggins didn't sell :(
but he did get another pop in Driving.

If I stay in the cup a while I will make a small profit ($20kish)
but once out of the cup I'm in the neg again booo... might sell him once im out of the cup.

The ABBL has been tough since I joined, I haven't made any money since I promoted to here and I have only just been staying afloat.... put that down to poor management for sure, but it's still bloody hard to survive and profit.

And Koops was the only team to pull an away win.

Supposed Great 8, Koops will be wrapping up a HCA in the conference whilst your all laughing about the money you are saving.

FYPI, I wont be maintaining my current roster for the entire season even if Brethes doesnt sell tonight.

That said tonights gate was $576K and with a down size of a staff member, a boost in merchandise, a win in B3 games and a win in cup games, I almost get to break even each week

Last time I made it to the ABBL I also landed on the tougher side. At least this time I'm financially in a much better place. I can't imagine how the teams with more expensive rosters than mine are going to sustain that all season long. That's truly dedication to win if they do though.

Especially tough for HA, who doesn't even get a financial boost for winning the title. I can only imagine the weekly losses a $900k+ team is sapping.

On a side note, that was my very first win in the ABBL ever! (party)

By my calculations the TV money is down by a bit over 3k a week from last season

What was the TV money last season? In my Div II league it was about $139k.

Last season it was $ 228 601 but by my calculations this season it will drop to $225 195

Thanks Sid, just curious to see what my likely weekly income is going to look like. Nice to see that a $700K+ team is actually quite sustainable.
