That seems to be true. The side wholost the finals in my league made it through with a 18 and 4 record

Any update on the likely ranking of the what the lowest ranked "lucky loser" team to be promoted this season into Div3 ????????????

I believe that Im ranked 75th (20 W 2 L & PD of 685) and whilst I won the 1st final I believe it is probable that I will lose the series
Based on the rankings on the first page, I think the answer is World Wanderers (277171). I thought for sure it would be my Bamboo Sprouts @ 19-3 +783, but it appears to have been the World Wanderers @ 19-3 +760. The Jedula Basketball Team (276014) did not promote with 19-3 +752.

Actually, now that you mention it, after I looked up a lot of teams, it doesn't appear to have been particularly consistent:

you are right, but some did not : for instance H.A.W.T. was defeated in the PO finals

Several of the teams you bolded out won their league (automatic promotion), eg Beware of Puppies, Dirty Hedgehogs, Punxaasdasd ....

indeed. I think the criteria was W/L ratio for conference winners (regular season).
