Thanks Mike and everyone else in the audience... I'm actually surprised we're getting this kind of attention! =)

Well either way, you guys have me for another season for me to serve my term, but yes, I love the community here and I'd love to stay as long as you guys would have me, or when one of the locals want to take over. Just make sure you remember to vote when elections comes rolling by because I think only Sacrum Tigers voted this election, and luckily that was the only vote that I needed. I'm indebted to him for initially giving me this chance, and the rest of you, for accepting me in. =)

Amazing work you and Perpete are doing.
Love to read the after-game thoughts, pretty entertaining.
Regarding the vote, you're thankful and we are too. :)

Looks like Vietnam wants another stab at us. We'll be playing them again in a scrimmage rematch this Monday for pride. See you all on Monday in the post game writeup.

Final Score
Vietnam U21 102 - 79 Hanguk U21

This game shows the significance of a few things.
1. Enthusiasm - since we blew our tank in the game last week when we gave it our all, they were probably up effort on us
2. My mistake in guessing a wrong tactic led to our defense being in a pickle
3. We can't count on Sang-Woo Kim forever boys. This is the transition period, and we really need to start to adapt to playing without him since we won't have his service next season. That means... we really need another big to step up.

Turnovers is the name of the game, and it certainly isn't the stat we want to be winning in. 27 total turnovers in the game vs, our opponent's 8. Yes, I know my bad gdp must've played a role in it, so I'll add that to the list of considerations for future games. But man... 27 turnovers?

But there were some positives. I was watching bits and pieces of the game and it was fun to see that we were missing shots purposely, just to demonstrate our offensive board dominance.
Yong-Ha Ryu (34707108), "Mr. Butterfingers" - 8 Offensive Rebounds, 18 total rebounds, 6 turnovers?
Mr. Big left some big shoes to fill, hope you can live up to the hype.

We'll try to get a few more scrimmages in this season and try to put the pieces together for next season.
Keep training. Good job boys, you guys are doing a great job in that department

And this week we have a young Korean rookie on the market, so if anyone has room to take him on, please consider giving him a shot. Hwan-Suk Hong (34707127)
And there should be a few more next week, so keep an eye out. I'll keep you guys updated.

Cheers!

Thank you and Congrats to EGM-Perpete as well for a season well done. If you guys haven't seen it yet, the Senior National Team won today, making it 3 wins this season, and although they won't be advancing to the knockout round, 3 wins for our NT has almost been an unheard of feat!!!

so please, the great citizens of Korea, I don't know if Perpete plans to take another run at coaching our National Team, I sure hope he does, but make sure you vote at the start of next season! =)

Let this be the start of building from the ground up, and hopefully getting nice young players into the senior team that will last for a while.

as Busan Thunder said
경정태!! 경정태!!! 경정태!!!

Thank you guys! Our national program wouldn't have been as strong without your help.

Final Score (Scrimmage)
Lubnan U21 125 - 138 Hanguk U21

A back and forth game from the get go, but Lubnan tries to pull away early, sinking early dagger-threes, to put our Korean Juniors in an early hole, trailing as much as 21-11 in the game. But team Korea wasn't going to let them have it easy firing back with a balanced distribution of points scoring and timely offensive rebound, clawed back to end the quarter only down 2 points, 31-29. The back and forth continued through the 2nd quarter with an abundance of foul calls. Good thing that extra free throw practice we had is paying off. It's as if the refs are trying to take the game in their own hands. We come back out gunning from the half and finally taken the lead, but never enough to pull away, ending the quarter up 4, 87-91. Final quarter, both teams slows down their offense to make sure of their shots, as our boys try to maintain our 4 point lead. Lubnan ties it up on a 3! Back and forth we go in a tight 1 possession game, capped off by a 3-ball and a game tying shot by Jae-Hoon Kim, and a Sang-Woo Kim block to prevent any buzzerbeating finish. Dikembe Mutombo finger wag. "Not this time"! We are in for a treat! Overtime! We definitely showed in this game we won't go down easy. What an offensive turnout!!! The extra quarter is brought to you by the Do-Kwon Kim show, putting the game away early with steals and 2 quick baskets. That's all she wrote for Lubnan. The Korean boys takes the win.

Highlights:
Jae-Hoon Kim (33894299) - Took up the leadership role in this game to demonstrate that he can help carry the torch next season in the absence of this year's leader Sang-Woo Kim.
Chan-Myung Noh (35898782) - "Mr. Untouchable" - Where were you all season long? With an amazing 13 for 13 shooting performance. Maybe Mr. Trigger-Happy should take some notes. =)
Speaking of which. Jin-Hyung Ahn (33894294) - "Mr. Trigger-Happy" - maybe as a sign of maturity, only took 3 shots in the whole game, going 1 for 3, evening out his shooting% a bit, and opting to help the team with 8 assists. Possibly having found a second calling, too bad he does have many games left under the U21 squad to earn a better nickname.

The seniors of the team will be leaving soon, but our sophomores are showing promise that they are ready to step up. We are gonna be 화이팅 come next season's consolation tournament!

On a side note skku-star has abandoned his team and left his players searching for a new home. I tried to save a few young hometown boys, if you guys feel like offering shelter:
Sung-Keun Lee (35556599)
Taek-Joon Kim (35556594)
Sung-Hoon Kim (34707098)

And for those who are up for a bidding war, these international players are sure to fetch a pretty penny
John Campbell (22087856)
Alessandro Longo (22689566)
Linas Puroklis (19637457)
Nicasi Costa (27379889)
Dragan Živkov (22925482)

deadline is on Thursday! Make sure you put a bid in if interested!

This week we'll be putting ourselves up to a challenge in facing an European team. We're making them come to us! Hopefully the jet lag will wear them down. =)
This being a U20 match, it'll give us a chance to see what we're brining to the table next season without our retiring 21 year olds.

on a separate note,
we have another new member, just as one manager has forsaken us, another joins. Hopefully everybody just stays so we can grow past 10 managers.
Please join me in a warm welcome for Logic Design (40660)!
