I think there is some sort of a soft cap in every division.

I believe the cap in the II. is around 2300 or something, and in the III around 1500. I don't know about the I.1 but I guess there would be a soft cap there as well, maybe around 4000.

So if you are close to that cap the fans won't increase that much, and if you somehow managed to get way over it you will probably lose some fans.

Last season my fans increased to 1400 (from 300) when I won the III, now I lost the playoff semi final in the II and my fans increased to 1850. Somehow I think I'm pretty close to that cap.

Has to be higher - I hit 4974 and went down to 4526, and the Canadian champ hit 6800 at one point.

The key question is, how the heck did they manage to get that much over the cap? Was it some sort of a bug, or was the cap toned down?

Yeah my first though is that it was a bug, most values of the solid I.1 teams are reported around 4000-4500 or something. 6500 is well much imo.

But maybe they indeed decreased the cap, because the I.1 teams were making way too much money with their 20k sold out stadiums hehe.

Ah wait they still are

Don't forget to add in the DT profit.....

Seriously... soft cap or not we need to have a bit more understanding to fan behaviour as initially the tactic was win all the time improve attendences and this was equally as important as training. If now even by winning you cant attract fans with a lvl10 PR guy then you have to question something. I also appreciate we are unlikely to be building and filling 50,000+ stadiums and filling them anytime soon...(or are we!)

Maybe even though the game is young some people are just ahead of the cureve and will continue to have to work with 20-25k stadiums forever which when full with max ticket prices should give 12.5million revenue per year (with TV money excl. Cup money)

This would then give us a rough maximum total salary of 1million per week for staff and players (assuming you have a reasonable cup run)...

This still gives a few seasons more of potential profit if you can build and fill your stadium before you have to carry mega wage players!

You absolutely don't need to be in the top division to daytrade.

Anyway, let's get back in to focus here, we are waiting for a reply from the BB's about what happened with the season ticket holders.

Shouldn't any cap on season ticket holders be a percentage of stadium size and not a whole number?

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.
