Like brian said, its easy for you to say inept is fine when vyberal's backup is neascu.

LOL.

Envy sucks.

Regardless of the quality of the backups, in my last pl game against a scrappy katSas And 1 (10348532) vyberal and his mediocre stamina played 41 minutes and one of my other players who has awful stamina played more than 38 minutes. I don't see any big downgrades from stamina. admittedly, it is impossible for me to test the converse case of how they would have done with superior stamina ...

Blimey. If the best team in the game has a weakness, can you lot refrain from pointing it out!

This is purley a hunch, but i suspect handling has something to do with the quality of shot your players take to some small degree. I think it does a little more than most people think (ie only lowering TO).

For instance in the NBA bigs with horrible handling will take longer to get control of a pass, allowing the defense better position before they take their shot. The same can be said for permiter players, a quick pump-fake can give you a higher quality shot.

You may be right, and I actually agree with you, but:

1. Kind of a small sample size.

2. There a a lot of other factors at play in determining rating.

I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying your example is far from conclusive.

Thanks RiP88 - very helpful information (and makes sense as well). Not to say I will train stamina soon, but good to know ...

It's an hard fight between driving and shotblocking but the winner is....shotblocking!

I think driving is useful. One of my players before who had atrocious driving before always had a man in his face when attempting a shot.

You cant compete in high level leagues with starters below respectable stamina.

Stamina's important, no question, but I can't agree with you, speaking from direct experience. I'm carrying 4 players (3 starters, one top reserve) with awful stamina, and I'm competing just fine, IMO. I'd love to have that stamina higher, but not at any cost.

Try training stamina in the off season so you don't miss out on a week of training during the season (since there will be no minutes in the off season)?
