ik had blijkbaar 1 detail over het hoofd gezien...

ik had een vrij zware match vorige dinsdag. En dus had ik nu de keuze om mijn beste ploeg terug te laten spelen, of mijn minuten zo goed mogelijk te krijgen.

Ik heb, logischer wijze geopteerd voor het tweede.

Ik heb een risico genomen door normaal te spelen, wetende dat Vottem waarschijnlijk zou crunchen, om toch een voordeel op te bouwen voor de halve finale, wetende dat het een risico was.
Ik had er echter op gereknd dat het thuisvoordeel deze achterstand zou rechttrekken, zodat ik een deftige kans had, met een risico op verlies.

Blijkbaar heb ik de switch tussen 'gepraat'over neutraal terrein, en de éffectieve switch' ergens gemist.

Bijgevolg waren mijn kansen dus klein. Mijn starters waren goed genoeg, mijn reserven niet...

Jammer, maar volgend jaar weer een nieuwe kans he.

Ondanks dat ik gehoopt had de beker te kunnen winnen, vind ik het niet bijzonder jammer.

Ik kan nu terug mijn geplande trainingen afwerken, en hopelijk dan ook de verkopen. En zo kan de onlangs gekwetste Campos misschien ook zijn vorm terugkrijgen.

Aangezien ik nog nooit kampioen van België werd, is die titel nu mijn prioriteit. Misschien vandaar dat ik het niet zo heel erg vind.

congrats Vottem, jammer van mijn onoplettendheid wat het terein betrof, anders hadden we het iets spannender kunnen maken, maar misschien vond je het nu ook al spannend genoeg. ;)

And I'm not sure the form of my team will be good enough. But I prefer lose against bibou than against lord of doom :p

I did make the mistake of thinking I was at home. so I deserve the loss.
Would I have chosen diffrently if I would not make this mistake? Probably only the PO-crunch time, since I could use the enthousiasm from normal, but didn't REALY need it.
I think I would still have had the same players. Campos at medium form is real bad. You can see it in his ratings as well. Figueras and Sen both already had their minutes, so I wouldn't have them play anyway.
My starting team, in it's form should have been good enough, my back-ups, and especially their form did it I think.

Anyway, I certainly don't begrudge you on this one. I am glad you also get a shot at the cup this way.

Would it have been important enough for me, I'd played diffrent. But I guess you already know that.

One season however I plan on taking both Belgian titles, like only Sum has done so far. But first I'm going to try to take the Championship. Once I know I can do that one, I might go for the double.

Should have went for inside scoring.. since my ratings of inside scoring are better... But still congratz to Joe =)

I'll be back in 2 seasons, with a new point gaurd with some nice OD skills ;D
