I have stamina drops regularly too, but I do not mind that much. I didn't see too many negative effects on players with very low stamina.
I do agree that if you do find stamina very important for your players, it is realy hard that his stamina is gone after an injury, and it takes too long to recover it for just 1 player.
However I read 1 post that said he trained and got 1 pop, while 2 players dropped in stamina. I think he trains something else than stamina? if not, my next sentence will be void.
Stamina trains much faster , so it's totally not bad to have 2 drps on stamina while you get a pop in an other skill, you can easely train 1 week stamina to recover the lost stamina of the last 6 weeks, and then go on training the thing you where training again.
This was the point in the first place, to force managers to interupt their normal training and make them train stamina once in a while...
Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to attach a background stamina on newly generated players. when the player is fit, and does not train stamina, he will go towards that background, if he gets injured, he drops, but after recovering, he starts going back. In real life all people are diffrent, some have beter stamina then others, they are 'born' with it.
Training stamina will make him rise quicker to his background, and if he reached it, he will still get better, but slower.
Players that get stamina training on regular basis might see their background rise, players that never receive stamina training will see their background drop.
This way, a player does not nessecarily need to train stamina in order to recover his form, but players who do train stamina every so often will improve over time...
They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.
