I think talk of Bynum being injury prone are a bit unfair though.

It's not like he breaks down in training like Oden... His three major knee injuries have come from..

- Landing on Lamar Odom's foot in 2009.
- Kobe falling into his knee in 2010.
- Landing on DeJuan Blair's foot against San Antonio in 2011.

Those required surgery in the end. But fair to say he was a bit unlucky in those two scenarios, because even after surgery it takes a bit of time to get the strength back, which limited his effectiveness for a while.

You can be unlucky. I have been unlucky. I have injured my foot and haven't played for a year and a half. It isn't the bad luck that is the issue though. For such a big man once the injuries start it is hard for them to stop. Think of Yao Ming, Ralph Sampsom, Georgie Murison (sp?), Greg Oden etc, those big guys once they start getting hurt it tends to continue. I just think if I had a big man who is still seen to have a ton of potential, who is a really skillful and even dominating player when in the right physical and mentl state, and who has great trade value, I would see if I could trade him for someone who is less fragile in every way.

So you guys gearing up for a huge Christmas Eve game, then? The Battle of the ZeroThirteens. I'm excited. I'm just disappointed I'll be on a plane over the Pacific when it's on... it'll be the first result I check when I'm off the plane, though.

Did anyone else see the Clippers role the Lakers today? Was that real or did I have some kind of ridiculous dream?

Get on board those Clips for anyone that does not know. What an exciting team with so much potential, these guys are ready to explode!!!

They'll be good but not THAT good .... but Jordan/Griffen should break the record for the number of dunks in a season by a team just between the 2 of them with Paul feeding them all season

I just really like the starting 5 that they've put together. Jordan seems underrated to me. The guy is one of them most explosive 7 footers in the game, perhaps doesn't score like Dwight but also doesn't need to. He blocks and rebounds and brings excitement, the same way Griffin does. Butler and Billups bring solid experience and personally I think both will excel in this current line up. Griffin is young and will certainly improve, especially with pressure being lifted with Paul taking a lot of the spot light. Paul is going to be the spearhead of this team, already you can see his affect on the team. The bench may not be big names but they are young and enthusiastic and should provide great support. I'm excited to see the Clips finally step up and challenge the Lakers for the L.A. crown. Los Angeles looks to be having a name change to Lob Angeles, bring it on!

Jordan is overrated by some here.

He's an under average post defender, but good help defender, hence the blocks.

He also has no offensive ability. Don't get blinded by all the flashy dunks.

Then again I suppose with Paul in the team he doesn't need a post game...

Sounds like you might be coming around to the reality of what his required role actually is, he doesn't need to be Dwight Howard. Look at how my Tyson Chandler improved his reputation by playing for Dallas last season. All of a sudden he's that crucial piece to win a championship. The Clippers have a solid team, they'll make playoffs.

They will more then make the playoffs... they will make the western conference finals!

I boldly predict a OKC vs Clippers conference finals with OKC making it to the finals.

Then in the finals it will be Bulls vs OKC, with the Bulls taking it out in 6 games.
