No. For me it was a planned move for a while: I've been making bids on players for a couple of weeks now.

So I have been saving my money, waiting patiently for the end of the season to get here so I can start buying my bigs and get ready for next season. So the other night I saw a big I was drooling over, and thought I could get him for cheap....I had the bid, and was bummed to see I was outbid....by Coco! So we totally got in each others way, and slowly bid him up over 15 minutes giving someone a chance to log in and outbid us both, so neither of us got him.

Then, I see Vega back on the market, His previous sale prices have not been very good, so I thought I could go after him. But I wanted to let that auction expire, and buy him next week after he's relisted so I can avoid paying an extra 193K in salary. Nobody bids....5 minutes left....nobody bids....3 minutes left...Shoot!! Freaking AZ Bullish Mentality places a late bid and snags him. Plan foiled!

So then I see these two get matched up against each other in the Cup...couldnt help but notice the irony.

I hope your team busses crash arriving at the Neutral Court Arena and all your players die.

This made me smile.

Retrospectively I am glad I didn't get that guy. He was in awful GS and even if he came up to mediocre that wouldn't have been enough to play BM competently.

Ohhhhhh great, now I feel even worse! :-) I just needed to get his GS to 7 by the Relegation series...so his 3 GS was why I thought I could steal him.

At least my guy is financially sustainable. You've got, what, close to 1.1 million in salaries now?

weird loss yesterday. your team ratings were crazy, but funky held up well by the pp100.

You seem to be a bit mistaken by my intentions. Vega isn't a rental. He's going to be around for at least half of next season, if not longer.

I have been weak half of the season to be stronger in the final bit. It's called a plan.
