For what it's worth - I just want to double down on what enynho said in regards to poor luck.. Slovenia had probably our best roster in history, which was medal-worthy, but due to terrible luck in group stage, where we also got extremely well trained Finland, decent Greece and perennial champions France, we had to use up quite a bit of enthusiasm to even make it out of the group stage.. so Hungary played us while we had 5, then Spain played us when we had 7, so we lost despite full tactical win. Also Polan then played us while still at 9 and sadly we targetted final 2 games of the season vs Bosnia when our enthusiasm was on 11 and then against Turkey. This was very unfortunate for your team as our goal in the end was top 4 while you rightfully so fought for top 2, but sadly with poor luck ended up in 5th.. group was just very strong and it came down to luck of who was getting Slovenia earlier.
Similarly for the upcoming season - I believe that Bosnia can't even host the next Euro Championship, since you have a medal in last 5 seasons? And similarly Belgium, who also has a medal? So your season is essentially "a waste of time", which is one of the worst feelings.. and yeah, suffering the defeats that your team suffered at the end of last season, as a long time U-21 coach, I know exactly how devastating and demoralizing they are and how hard it is to gather motivation to come to forum after such defeats and write something meaningful.. especially when barely anyone actually writes/responds to most of the posts.
So yeah, props to enynho for doing amazing work! Just my 2 cents
