Does it matter I'm in a lower division. And you would not even do a thing instead of being NT manger take care of your garbage team first.

My vote will go with Namssor. I respect GM-Jason and Oriolekid as managers but they have many strikes against them compared to a long time, experienced user like Namssor.

1.) They have only been around for a handful of seasons so they simply don't have the same level of experience.

2.) Playing in the NBBA, Namssor already has experienced evaluating high level players and playing against high level competition. . How will they be able to properly evaluate players with 300k+ in salary?

3.) . Jason, has almost exclusively played one tactic throughout his BB career, . In fact this quote from Jason seems to confirm that he still has one track mind when it comes to tactics:

4.) Another strike against Jason is that he has just recently become involved with the NT community. Sure he may be a dedicated manager for the NT, but he may also lose interest in the NT just as fast as he gained it.

Some interesting thoughts Smedlock....Let me address your comments point by point....

1. I think it can be argued that in my nearly 5 seasons of experience i have packed more into that than just about anyone else. Combining my teams amazing success, the Elite level coaches that have mentored me, my Private Leagues, Private League Networks and the handful of people I have personally mentored, I am not lacking for experience. As much time as I spend on BB, its as if I have been playing this game since the beginning.

2. I think you make somewhat of a good point here. I was speaking about this with a friend yesterday, and based on the actual players I have had, and played against, I would be even more suited as the U21 coach in that regard. However, I understand the games, the ratings, the players, the strategies as well as anyone, so while I agree you have a good point on this, I dont see it as a real concern or that it will be problematic for me.

3. When i first started in BB, I was a RnG/Motion team. Then everone started playing my 3-2 and i noticed my scoring slowed a bit. So I added some bigs, and became more balanced. However, as I developed that, I started seeing the benefits of being an inside team from all 5 positions on the court, and have built what has been an unstoppable inside team at every level I have played at so far. You may look at that as a negative and see that I have a one track mind, but I believe its a strength. I don't simply play Look Inside mostly because its all I know. I have bult a true Look Inside team. If you are going to use my team, and my strategies as a knock against me, well that sort of backfires when you consider that I have had the highest PD each of the last two seasons, have gone 43-1 in those two seasons, won 2 championships in those two seasons, promoted in each of those two seasons, and are currently on a 44 home game win streak. My one trick pony show seems to be serving my team quite welll :-) Two of the teams I am mentoring are Rng/Motion teams...another is also a Look Inside team. I know and undestand the tactics quite well.

4. Please don't tell me that an effort to sway voters against me you are now relying on crystal ball tactics? Sheesh, Smedlock the Magician...Step into his cave and he will predict the future! :-) Come on my friend, you know me better than that! When have you seen me commit to one thing in BB that I lost interest in? Better yet, when have you seen me commit to one thing in BB that I did't not only completely dive into, but excel at?

If you all want to vote for an NT coach, that is not only commited to the program, but has every intention on on keeping it going in the right direction, and winning World Championships, vote for me!! I have every intention of doing so well as NT coach, adding to and building to this program, that I will want to be the NT coach for the next 10 seasons. I am in this for the long haul. Vote for GM-Jason!

I know a few that will be interested and I do know Jason has mentioned that he is willing to spearhead a project like this.

It completely matters that your in a low division. You are not anywhere close to grasping the concepts of the game that you need to understand to manage your own team let alone a NT team. You've played for less than one season and posted a 6-12 record. I would feel more comfortable w/ Buckeye than you (Buckeye: Don't take that as encouragement I'd prefer a blank lineup any night of the week over your coaching).

Jason is a coach for building for the future. I think he will greatly strengthen and enrich the community and take activity to new heights. I don't know if he can make the correct decisions to win during this term. I expect a steep learning curve, but there are plenty of people to help while he gets his feet wet.

I appreciate the compliment Jelme :-)

This is exactly how I see myself. In a short period of time I have built what is regarded as the best Federation on BB. That is my mindset, in how i do things. I will absolutely continue the work that Jfarb has done to build the NT community and the offsite forum. I am committed to that. I just want everyone to keep in mind something...First, I am an "Is what it is" type guy.. And second, I have as much passion and enthusiasm for BB as anyone in this game. And third, look at the success my team has had. Its not luck, its not right place right time..heck, the DIV league I played in is good or better than half the DIII leagues. Its like I went from DV to DIII, did it again, and now am in DII. I haven't just built a winning team, I have built a dominant franchise. My team excels in every way. On the court, training, game shape, and even in the Press Release department.

If you vote for me, I promise to carry that same determination, experience, and success and give to our NT program.

Absolutely...I was talking the other night about this idea, and I have several variations of such a plan I would implement. I think there are several directions we can go in this regard, to have some home grown NT players that can be what we need to win World Championships!

Does it matter that I'm in a lower division? You wouldn't even do anything. Instead of being NT manager, take care of your garbage team first.

fixed it for you.
