I thought the Canadian Football league was down to like 4 teams...was really hurting the last I heard.


No, it's doing the same as always. Eight teams, lots of visibility here.

The only hurt I've seen is the disappearance of the American franchise, but that must be years ago now? No teams have disappeared. I'm still a Sasketchewan Roughriders fan and still trying to figure out what a rouge is.

Ottawa might get a team back one of these days (after going bankrupt twice). As a former season ticket holder, I say just let it die and bring us an MLS team instead.

Wait till you see the MLS team in Vancouver in two seasons.

Toronto is very popular and props to them.

Since I moved to Vancouver, I am amazed how soccer crazy this city is, and the participation level of all ages.

Even the Team 1040 broadcasts English Premier League Matches on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Sometimes the odd FA Cup matches. Great for fan interest!
